I believe it’s Mario party 6 or 5 where there’s an entire side game mode where u get to shoot people in tanks Hopefully you get to test that game mode out

Nick losing his mind during Mario Party 8 is a perfect testiment to why I love it so much. It's so brutal and unforgiving, you think you're winning until the other players decide to buy out your hotels or two bowser candy loaded players run up and eat your entire investment porfolio and you go from gloating in first to swearing in last.

Mario Party DS is possibly the most unforgiving Mario Party game due to the hidden blocks taking up to 3 stars away from you. Would pay good money to see the party crashers play it 🎉🎉🎉

It’s funny how much of a hard time you had with Mario Party 8 since that was the first ever Mario party game for me and my brother when we were younger. We always had a lot of fun with the game because of the well designed boards, fun minigames, and the very cool candy transformations. Really hope the party crashers get to playing that game someday and maybe next time you’ll get a much better experience with the game lol.

Fun fact: in the n64 days. Mario party toad had the most amount of polygons possible on a single model to give him his round head

It is ironic that Nick chose one of the maps that takes longer to get to the star. If he chose Koopa Tycoon Town, he probably would have gotten a star turn 1

Trust me MP8 is one of the best MPs you just had bad luck. Play the other Boards with the other 3 boys and you know what I mean. Editor did a mistake: MP1 took 11 turns not 8.

Mario party 8 has some excellent minigames there’s one where you punch each other off cliffs and a card game where the TCNation runs over your foes. Would be very fun to see y’all play it

Mario Party 3 was my first game in the series and it's my favourite. If you go through the adventure mode, not only do you play on the normal boards but a character challenges you for a star stamp (What the millennium star gives you.) and you then get taken to a special 1v1 dueling map. Game was packed with content

If you ever play any of these games again I would love to see DS. That was the one I started with.

Crazy how it took Nick as much time to get one star in Mario Party 8 as it took him to get all of the other stars in all of the other games combined

Fun fact: Mario Party 8 was originally a Gamecube game but was moved to the Wii. Makes sense why the graphics are scuffed a little and why the minigames feel like they were for a regular controller.

I know its a little different, but Star Rush also has you collect multiple stars throughout the game, not just one star to the winner, you earn them by winning the multiplayer boss battles. This matters to me because i feel like a lot of people don't give Star Rush a chance cause its not a normal Mario Party, but i personally think its actually pretty fun

Most of the sticker art in Superstars is ripped from Star Rush, some are from top 100 and some are custom. almost all character expressions are from Star Rush and were used when one player steals an ally from another

I grew up playing Mario party 8 ALL THE TIME(always against cpu but still) and I feel like it’s the best one because it’s actually got: plot, cool powers, even cooler power animations, a cool opening screen, the bazaar where you can just play mini games, genuinely so fun and I wish I could play it again

Mario Party 5 is easily my favorite Mario Party. While 2 and 4 are great and definitely the original two are huge in my nostalgia, 5 is the one that has the most interactivity. Between all the fun minigames on it, the silly car battle game, and the goofy story mode, it's just a superb game. I have no idea why it took me so long to put a comment here, this video is a really good one and I have full sympathy for you with that Mario Party 8 luck. Absolutely savage.

If memory serves, I believe the reason Mario Party 8 looks the way it does is because it was originally suppose to be on the GameCube. But the Wii was out already by that point so Nintendo said “make it for the Wii”.

Nick, I am CONVINCED Mario Party 8 had some hidden bias towards Yoshi, and Boo as well. Whenever I would play against any of those two, they would *always* cause me a lot of trouble. Like, their AI had to be modified to make them "luckier" or something- Also, the reason MP8 looks weird is because it was made to be a GameCube game :P
