Our two BT get along fine. Bailey is going to be five and Sophie is just 1year and 6 months old. They love the sun and bought them their toys. Sometimes they’re jealous of one another; so balance is always important especially for plays and food. Love our BT ❤️👍❤️👍❤️

I brought home a female Boston puppy when my male was 12 years old. There was a two week depression phase (not eating a lot, pacing and panting) and then once he adjusted he started playing with her and snuggling with her. My older one is dog aggressive in public areas but not at home so I had to introduce them here. As long as you are in tune with your first dog it can be easy.

My girl doesn't love dogs as she wasn't socialized with dogs as we knew no one with a dog. She is around a couple that she doesn't see often but a couple are old and the other is a chihuahua. She's reactive to dogs on walks. Hates a barker or a dog pawing at her. I'd love to get another but worried it won't work. She's 6 years old.

My 1st quickly became best buddies. When I added #3, it took a little longer for him to fit in. But now they are all very good friends. Are you aware of any Boston Terriers having seizures. My 8 year old recently have a really bad one. The vet put him on phenobarbital.

That is great they are good friends now. As for seizures I've heard of other Boston's having them, Bella has never had them. I'm not sure as far as a percentage how many Boston Terriers experience this.

@@BostonTerrierSociety My Boston started having seizures at age 10. The vet put her on medication, but it didn't help. She would sometimes have 5-6 seizures a day. I had to make the heartwrenching decision to have her euthanized. 😭 My husband had passed away the year before (2018), so Lola was my constant companion. I miss her every day.

Dona Whitehart-Harris I have had two Bostons who developed seizure disorder. It was very hard to go through but I currently have a 9 year old (no problems yet) and a new puppy.

@@nancyhorsenlanger1151 Thank you for your response. Bandit has only had one seizure. It really scared me. He went to the vet right away. He prescribed phenobarbital and so far has controlled the seizures. I sure hope that continues. Did yours get better on meds?

Dona Whitehart-Harris In my first one, the problem developed slowly and I had her on meds for over a year before the seizures got worse and closer together. My second ie was a rescue and he was probably 12 or so when he had a big seizure in January. I hadn’t even filled his prescription when he started having more around the clock. I had to put him down. One vet told me that tumors in the head cause them. My son also lost his to seizures. None of these dogs are related. I love the breed temperament so I am taking a chance again.
