The scholarship essay is an excellent way to weave your student's passions into a compelling story. Any activities your student is passionate about is time well invested and will help them stand out.

My daughter is a HS senior, who volunteers at church with children and sings on the team leading worship. She is planning on majoring in Forensic Psychology. The school she wants to attend is located in Oregon and we live in California. My son is a sophomore in a private college in California and is majoring in psychology. He wants to become a MFT. He works with twin boys who are autistic. He also works on his college campus and helps backstage for his theater group at school. He’s gotten some scholarships from the school for theater and church. Besides getting a scholarship from church and theater, I haven’t had any success finding other scholarships, especially for their majors or working with the special needs community. I’ve listened to the free seminar, which was very informative and encouraging, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions how to find scholarships for their specific majors and if I should even bother with looking for scholarships regarding their work with children and/or the special needs community. Both have worked with special needs children for years. I’m fact, my youngest daughter is severely handicapped. Thanks so much for all your videos. They have been very inspiring!

For your daughter you may consider WUE schools (www.wiche.edu/tuition-savings/wue/) Here is a list of scholarships which might be a good start. It is for learning disabilities, but may include other disabilities as well. thescholarshipsystem.com/blog-for-students-families/22-scholarships-for-students-with-learning-disabilities/

In 18 days I will be a sophomore in high school and I hope to go to the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology to major in theoretical physics. I'm watching this video because I hoped to get a full scholarship but right now I hardly know a lick of Korean

Full scholarships are difficult to obtain. Every school has their own requirements for awarding institutional scholarships. Check out the school's requirements to see if you still have a chance!
