Everything you say makes very few wanting to retire in Vietnam No foreigners can buy a home, land, car motorcycle, we can only lease or buy a condo with what 60% Vietnam populated, then we can only sell to another foreigner. Or we invest about $280,000.00 in companies we don't know ow about. Or we get sponsored by a company have work. I am not sure if you understand the definition of retirement.

the funny thing is that you can keep long-term deposit 6-months.. without paperwork... but cannot deposit vnd cash without paperwork, as a foreigner..
