Getting a Honda N600 Sedan Running After 16 Years Outdoors
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This topless Honda 600 sedan was built in the beach town of San Luis Obispo (SLO) possibly in the early 1980s. Honda 600s were plentiful and factory trained owner of Landis Automotive built this car. I purchased the car in 2007 and was going to redo it for my Honda 600 client back east. But with many of my projects never got done and I bought the car back last year where it continued to be parked in my barn in Southern Oregon. I put it up for sale for $5000 then thought what a fun video it would be to show how to get a long term parked car running again.

Nice to see another come back to life. Not many still around.
I am currently finishing up restoration of my 1970 Honda n600 that has been sitting for 30 years. The engine was rebuilt by Bill Colford 30 years ago and has about 1000 miles on the engine. I still have wiring to deal with and finishing up on a complete brake overhaul. Hope to have it on the road in a few months. It was inspiring to see this video and see this engine running again. Thanks for the inspiration.
I’m in the exact situation. It sat for a long time, and have been renovating and renewing things. Started with the fuel tank, fuel lines then ignition. Just finished doing all new brakes, everything new up front and the rear just the rotors are the original but still have to redo all the brake lines, might need to rebuild the booster. Do you think it’s ok, good or better to use copper lines than stainless steel?
Shelli says her car next please.
