Sir, what size were the holes that you drilled into the trailer? And does drilling into the trailer (metal) require a special type of drill bit?

I actually don’t recall the size. I just eyed it for what I thought would work. I used drill bits for metal. They worked fine with a little elbow grease. I started with a pilot hole and i’m sure that helped.

Where can I find those metal strips? I can’t find them online at all

I got them at a local flooring store. I couldn’t find them online either. TH marine sells plastic ones. But they always seem to be sold out.

Hey man just did this install today and lights work, and all my trailer lights work I just don’t have a right turn signal now. What should I check?

I would start with connections. Identify the correct wire and inspect the connections. I’m no electrician. I just wing it ! When I have an issue I just try to narrow it down with a process of elimination.

I also would say to hook up another light to it to rule out the light itself. If your turn signal doesn’t work at least you know that it’s an issue somewhere between the truck plug and the light. So if you go front to back systematically I’m sure you’ll discover whatever the issue is. For me, most times it’s because I made a poor connection that needs to be re-done.

@@chickenthighfishing I re crimped the connections and it seems to be working, if it fails again I’ll do new connectors! Thanks again for the video I followed it step by step and did all my lights towards the back and middle
