My favorite is still 5 1/2... Not considered as "genuine" GiS, but also ghost rider himself told GiS (at least those that were considered "original"), were not genuine and produced...

It's not a 964 Turbo, the car was a 930 Carrera with a tune, and a few Turbo body panels I think. Thanks for the video though, very cool to finally watch it in a decent quality.

Technically: it would be a Carrera 3.2 (930 is code for the Turbo, not used for the Carreras). I recall someone apparently who knew the guys that made this made a post on a forum (a bit sketch, sure) say it was a 3.2.

It was a 964 turbo and a film was a documentary series about illegal street racing. It’s on the wikipedia, but i drove a 930 turbo once and i can tell you it’s a turbo because i can hear when the rpm is rapidly rising. A natural aspirating engine doesn’t sounds like in the video. Once you drive one you will never forget it.

@@NZotyoka81 So in your mind Wikipedia knows better than the actual owner of the car? Take a look at the cover of the DVD that was released, accordion bumpers as opposed to smooth and updated 964 ones, PLEASE google before making comments like this. It's possible it might be a Turbo, but the research I've done (that isn't just opening Wikipedia and reading the first two sentences) leads me to believe it's a tuned Carrera. A lot of people seem to disagree with me, but I have not heard a single respectable source of information mentioned

I don’t have to go after different kind of urban legends. Forums often full with false informations. As i wrote it to you i drove a turbo 911 so i can tell you it’s a turbo. A tuned old air cooled non turbo porsche will never go that fast and not even sounds like this. Anyway i let you in your belives as a “well informed expert”.

Afaik they didn't. When GiS 1 was released in 2000 there wasn't really much usable in that space so I'm quite sure I remember them using "proper" cameras - which of course was quite a bit of work just to get mounted semi securely etc.

Early 20s me when I first saw: this is so awesome! Old ass me: slow the f down!!!!!!!!!!! Also old ass me: holy s, I walked through some of those streets while visiting Stockholm, how cool!!! But seriously, save that stuff for the track. It's very easy to kill someone out for a late/early jog when you're driving like this. Lovely city. Went to Pub Anchor many times, awesome spot. 😂
