Guten Tag. Sis is Fritz, se cousin of Sparky and... Nah, it's myself of course 😂 Great pieces, David 👍🏼 Schuco was known for excellent die-cast models back in the 60s. However, the quality back then was not the standard it is today. The models broke easily when played with. This is completely different today and the level of detail is overwhelming. (As I always say... scaled down reality 😜) Let's take a look at what we've got here.... (1:17) E-type A classic and just plain JOU. Whenever I see a model like this, I can't help but think of Jerry Cotton.... This is a fictional G-man in a German novel series from the 60s and 70s. His "trademark" was a red E-type that appeared in each of the novels. Some of the "adventures" were made into movies in the late 60s starring Mr. George Nader. (2:05) Merc W110 Everything is just right here. The color (dark blue) is typical of the late 50s, early 60s. The "chrome frames" of the windows and the authentic lensed headlights and taillights. The most remarkable are the exact replicated hubs with the "Mercedes star". Cool 😎 (2:45) Porsche 356 Memories of the great JAMES DEAN. (Ok, this one is a coupe) I wonder if this car was built in a color other than silver.... (Sure it was😜 but silver is the color you see most often😁) (3:16) BMW 2002 An icon of the 70's and in yellow.... JOU 😎👍🏼 (4:02) Audi R8 Sporty, sleek, modern and.... cool Great model 😜 (4:25) 911 Turbo I would call the color anthracite metallic. (Again, a top shelf model for the biggest Porsche fan in the good ol U.S. of A 🇺🇸👍🏼) (5:11) '75 911 Carrera I'm fascinated by the authentic wheels. Absolutely accurate...JOU (6:21) T3 camper A familiar sight here in Cux. We have about a dozen camping sites and these T3s are still very popular. WESTFALIA is the manufacturer of the roof structure and interior of these campers. The company was founded in 1844 in the town of Schwerte near Dortmund as a blacksmith shop. In 1923 began tooling and since 1951 the company builds caravans and camper in the city of Wiedenbrück. Since 2010, the company belongs to the French Rapido group. (8:17) Merc 300 SL Gullwing A classic sports car that was also successful as a racing car. (And by the way is just cool 😎) Excellent model (9:47) BMW M3 The car was and still is a popular car among young people. Very nicely detailed and a gorgeous blue. Great paint job. Oh yeah... The BMW logo symbolizes an airplane propeller against the blue sky. BMW actually means "Bayerische Motoren Werke" (Bavarian Motor Works) and, in addition to cars and motorcycles, has built mostly aircraft engines and jet turbines. (13:15) 356 kit There are also other colors than silver on the 356 😜 Assembly is easy, the finished model exquisite. Wonderfully detailed and, for sure, a highlight in any collection. Unfortunately, I can't say if there are other model kits from Schuco. So far I have not seen any. (But I also live in the "middle of nowhere, in the die-cast-outback ")😂 A great show,David, I'm thrilled. Definitely a thumbs up from me for this 👍🏼. Thank you so much for sharing. Only have a few Schucos so far, but really nice brand. Got BMW M3 recently. Like the Porsches and Audis. I just got the Porsche 911 Turbo Schuco x Tarmac Works Collab 64 in mail. Great looking casting, really well done with a ton of detail and cool rims.

Very nice models. Schuco never disappoints. I have a few of them. That T3 camper looks cool and I will surely buy one. They have a white VW Caddy coming up. Surely one to look out for.

Great show David! Wonderful introduction to Schuco. I consider them to be Europe's Auto World. I have a modest group of less than 10, but they're great. Love the kit! Thanks for doing this David! Kyosho, Dydo, M2, ERTL American Muscle and now this Schuco kit. I wonder who else makes this type of kit? We are blessed with great friends!

Another great comparison, Joe. AutoWorld is a great brand to use as a reference. I wish more would do kits too....they can get away with licensing questions by calling them a model kit I think?

The M3 was the perfect car to end on brother, it is absolutely perfect. I cannot take anything away from any of the others either they are absolutely magnificent. This brand is an under appreciated one…

I only have about 4 Schuco's in my collection including that 300sl. The quality I find is just as good as Tarmac and Mini GT. I do like that 356 kit car.
