I ran away from a abusive home at 13. Never went back. Nice old Filipino lady gave me a plate of rice everyday. With butter. It was the only food I ate for years. She kept me alive literally. God bless her. Wherever she is.

Jokoy hit you joke after joke. That's what is great about him no long setup just hit you fast and keeps hitting you. Thank god I watched it on netflix. I just paused it after the joke and take my time to laugh it out.

These are old cuts I have seen JoKoy twice in person. His concerts are amazing. At the very end there is about 20-30 mins of sing a longs. He should cut an r&b cd. He used to write for Chelsea Handler and they are now dating.

I learned: 1) When your child asks, "Why are you a d*ck all the time?," respond by confirming the accusation with a sociopathically premeditated tactic because you're the victim apparently. 2) Having road rage is referred to as being "good at road rage," unless you're a woman, in which case you're "the worst at road rage." 3) It's only acceptable to make fun of someone's Philippines accent if you make a career out of it.

I cried at kindergarten drop off, 1st day three times. I wore my sunglasses so they couldn’t see me cry. My oldest just turned 20, I remember them all like it was yesterday.

The thing is-I've heard/watched these stand ups. And it still has me cracking up! His delivery and story telling is top tier.

This one time, I was turning left at an intersection and a guy from the other lane cut me off as we were driving and I started cursing him out with erratic hand gestures and I looked over to the left and there was another woman wide eyed, using her hand gestures to say "calm down". I am Vietnamese and there is not a day that goes by that I crack jokes and impressions about my amazing mother, at work. In her memory, I want to make some videos featuring her because she is hilarious! She can be hard on me, very hard, but she is hilarious to people outside the family! My Asian American life is just like his!!! My mom is 4’10” and very very tough. Mixes her k and x, lol
