I had met him personally during chess Olympiad was held in Dubai in year of 1986.

One thing (among many) that sets him aside, is that he respects the others in the room. Focused, professional, yet humble.
Wow. I could really listen to Yasser for another 1 hour and 40 minutes. :) What a storyteller! That was an amazing walk down history lane, to a romantic time in chess. He's a treasure! :)

It was very strange for me not hearing about Yasser or saw him in any of recent videos of the Chessbrahs' guys. I miss Yasser and truly hope he is well. Anyway, it is a great pleasure to see and hear Yasser again! Nice to see you again GM Yasser Seirawan!

Met him in Seattle when he was very young. At the Seattle chess club run by Robert Karch. Asked Yasser if he wanted to play some five minute. He had just finished a match and was tired so he very nicely passed. Real nice young man!

Great video! Yasser is a fabulous story teller and has a lot of experience. The only flaw in the interview is the sound. Maybe there should have been 2 microphones.

Damn, I can't even imagine what it must have been like as a chess player (particularly in the USA) to live during the time that Fischer won the world championship match. Fischer's story post '72 championship is a real tragedy.

Yeah. He had that crazy mop top. He was always my favorite chess player. Kasparov is awesome of course but Yaz is the coolest.
