Get to know Croatia: Island Lopud
The “middle” island of the Elafiti trio, Lopud is home to just over 200 people. Its name stems from the Greek name for the island, Dalafota, although it was also named Lafodia by the Romans who once had a settlement there.
Sunj Bay - which is sandy - is located on the other side of the island.
