A tip no one is talking about that I personally figured out: rarity of a plant or animal is already pre determined by location and rng: just use your vision and inspect the food or animal and it will tell you it before harvesting it. How and when you harvest it just adds a little sprinkle of a bonus on top of the rarity.

Yea I noticed that too also something nobody mentions your progression also affects certain items max quality like branches for example I can get exquisite hammer head but only fine branches

Yeah I found 50 health moss Combine that with another 50 point exquisite ingredient and you theoretically should have at least a 100 health shirt 100 base health, 100 health shirt, 100 health pants, additional trinkets and boosts from connecting with health-increasing plants

PS theres a skill under hunter tree that helps you with your Navi senses that the mature animals glow purple so you don’t have to inspect them as well.

Yo do you wanna coop?

Middle mouse button does INSPECT... so u can see quality from a distance instead of random picking. Also color/tier is hard locked but ur success can up the numbers. So for example if u down a hammerhead in one shot/clean ur materials numbers will be higher!

Alot of Animal Damage is melee but not all is. So thats one thing to think of like the RDA damage is primarily Ranged damage and or blast damage atleast at first.

U will always get the quality it shows u if u use ur vision but the total stat depends on how good u make the kill or harvest. U make it sound so easy but to find rarer items it can more frustrating. Also the side quest for weaving is not tied to the main quest

Pro tip for console peeps if you hold r2 a lil when trying to grab for example bark your controller will vibrate when it stops your in the right spot to pull

By the way, in the second clan there is a quest where you have to find and kill the Stormglider :)

If you get that quest too early, or anyhow, meet any other storm glider too early, not powered enough, you rapidly wish, you did not have found that at all. A flying monster one hitting you. As bad as a Thanator. OK, we'll more visible, but also we'll more able to hunt you, if you are in it's territory.

If you hunter guide while checking it will show you what rarity and also tends to have a glow when superior or exquisite

How did you get the side quest after doing the third part of the contribution quest? It didn’t show for me she just said she’s proud and gave me the bow and blue print

I don't know if this will work for your issue, but I encountered an issue where when tracking the main quest, I wasn't able to pick up the initial community contribution side quest from her as the dialogue prompt wouldn't present itself. She'd just walk around Hometree with no prompt by which I could interact. I've seen issues like that in other games so I tried untracking the main quest she'd given me, and viola, the dialogue prompt appears and I was able to pick up the side quest. Hope this helps, and if not, good luck finding a solution.

How do you get this quest to trigger?

p.s. Pale Night Leaf Tree branch give 66 damage and you can get it as soon as you get icran

There are no Stormgliders in Kinglor Forest. They are only in the upper plains.

How come its not letting me equip my head gear or leg pieces? Its as if its lockef or something any help plz??

A little, you get items and gear that surpasses those items by level 4 or so.. Its nice to have a gun right from the start though

It is early getting to the point where you get your own ikran takes like 3-4 hours and you’ll be able to finish this side quest in no time lmao y’all wanna have a crate with the most op weapons as fast as possible and when you complete the game y’all be hating “ game is boring “ 😂

The 15 community basket donations alone are probably 6-8 hours of travel and looking for materials to donate. One camp asks for Cave Root which is in the upper plains, currently locked for me as I'm just a few main quests past obtaining the Ikran. Do not attempt at all if you don't yet have an Ikran!

You can do all 3 stages of this in the starting area ? Im on 3rd stage and its asking me to get Cave root. Cant get to the biome for that yet. Is there something im missing or what ?
