You are the first person I've ever watched who used mica powders with glue. It seems like such a simple idea, but its genius! I have tubs of mics powders from my soap making ventures. I didn't think about bringing them into card making. I love all of your suggestions in your video!! I want to go look through my dies to see what I have. I bought a mishmash bundle of dies on eBay and am learning as I go. This type of video is perfect for folks like me. Thank you, thank you!!

The “masquerade” card looks fantastic. I did see someone make a beautiful card recently using some vase dies & was lamenting that I didn’t have a set, but this is a fantastic alternative! I can also emboss my own patterns on my handmade vases using a dotting tool or bone folder or just an embossing folder. Thank you 😊

Great ideas to use what you have . Reminded me of watching Natasha Foote . You’re both full of crafty goodness so we don’t buy everything out there to make lovely cards . I think gold , bronze or brass looking twigs , using metallic pen would look good too .

Sadly, I often fall into the same trap. I Love, Love, Love your attitude of use what you have. Then you show us How to use what you have. Many utubers say the same words but Always use the newest release. Sigh. I do love pretty things. Your cards are among the pretty things I must have. So ... Off to search my stash and make some of my own. 😊 I had taken the teeny, tiny flower dies and put them all on one magnet sheet. It made it easier to actually use them. hello! a really great video showing the 'use your stash' alternatives! i have been inspired. sorry i can't share as i'm not on facebook. i think the dies you used today for the vases could also be inverted. have the decorative part of the rectangle ones on the bottom and the straight edge on the top. i'm so excited to try it out!
