I had my job 1 2021 powerboost in the dealer for 3 days a month ago because I had not gotten an update in over a year. 3 days later and I have full screen Android Auto. Took them 3 days due to keeping the batteries charged up.

Once they get you past that point where it was stuck it should continue to get over the air updates pretty regularly. Mine received three updates in a matter of a couple weeks recently.

Yep worked for me, got bluecruise very next day

Do you Own a FORD VEHICLE???? Is so, It Isn't capable of or Isn't enabled on your Vehicle.

I have gotten the update but my blue cruise still does not work brand new 2023 F150 limited. Settings say blue cruise expired in 2022

There are a lot of updates. Your truck might need a newer update. Where do you see it showing it’s expired?

Tried this several times with no luck. Just picked up a 2022 tremor that has been sitting on the lot for a while (but still brand new), and I right off the bat I could tell that my Sync wasn't up to date. The main reason was the fullscreen carplay not showing up when my dad's 21 Bronco and 22 Raptor have both had to feature working for some time now. This is the main thing I want to get working but for some reason I'm still not receiving updates, but the truck is telling me it is up to date?

Yeah. I eventually ended up performing the update myself with a mongoose cable. You can try to get your dealer to update it. Mine didn’t have a clue about how to do it. Hopefully you have better luck with yours. If you know anyone local with a mongoose cable. That would be your best bet.

You Have to Spend MONEY on Stuff that a Normal every day person can't do in there Driveway. Mitch has the TOOL'S and the know how it appears!

Hi I have a 2021 f150 My old sync 4 was 21281 I updated it via FDRS with the last update available in the app Which is 22087 😮😮😮 and there are no updates on FDRS How can I receive the last version?

MITCH, This is what FORD just Removed Out of the Main Screen. You can't do this Through the General Tab, It ain't there any more????? Any one know how to do this Now?????? FORD Power Up Update 10 Day's ago Screwed this Up. Hello..... ANYONE Else out there have this ISSUE?????

For those that were stuck on updates this setting was there. If yours was updated and doesn’t have this option any more than you are no longer stuck. You should be getting updates. Make sure it is on your home WiFi and have scheduled updates configured. Once I got past the stick point I have been getting regular updates. I received 6.5.0 about a week ago and then another update to 6.8.0 this week.

Thank you for the Reply Mitch. I "just" got 6.4.0 on DEC 21st. Nothing new since then as of yet. I been se upt on WIFI since June of 2022, we received 3 Updates within 8/9 months, and then it just QUIT, I've called and called and called, had the truck in for service and they knew "NOTHING", I called the OTA Ford support #, they knew "NOTHING", one Rep told me I would have to BUY a NEW Vehicle to get the BlueCruise 1.3 or "Whatever" it is Now day's?? Comical! I used my BlueCruise this Past Fri Dec 22nd and it's Still All Over the Road? Someone Honked at me then FLIPPED ME OFF due to Swerving in the Lane???? 🥺👀, I Shut it Down! This update is supposed to have a "SPEAKER" Icon somewhere to submit these customer issues now because the "GENERAL" Area for that submitting issues is now "GONE"??? I can't find a Speaker ICON anywhere, and this Latest Update of 6.4.0 has eliminated the Explanation of where to find and How to Use this "SPEAKER" Icon? I'am kinda confused with FORD'S "IT" people's way of doing things? They seem to mess thing's up quite nicely. I We are Still waiting for the BlueCruise to Update to something that's Usable for our $1995.00 Up Front $$$ at Purchase. Thanks Again Mitch. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Unfortunately, I tried this with no success. I bought my 2021 f150 close to when they released so maybe it's not possible for it to receive the latest update since it's most likely a job1 truck. I am going to take it to my dealer and ask them about this. I am currently on version 2.7.4. Does anyone know what the latest version of sync 4 the job1 2021 f150s should be able to update to?

My truck is stuck on 2.7.4 as well, called my dealer this morning and the service manager told me that it's pretty common and that they need to update some communications modules and that fixes the issues but it can take several hours to complete all the updates. Also check your battery if for whatever reason your battery is not charged past 80% the system will not try to pull updates. I've been trying various things I've read on the forums for months and called ford customer support twice (it's a joke all you get it some call center that says take it to the dealer) so hopefully this helps. The first person I spoke to at my local dealer told me they are not supposed to do software updates and its not covered under warranty this is not true I bought my truck out of town and when I called the place I purchased the truck they knew exactly what to do so don't let them lie to you.

I had to do it myself with a mongoose cable and a laptop. Couldn’t get my job 1 2021 to update on its own. I now have full screen carplay.
