During my high school days in 90s to early 2000 the subject S.U.P.W (Socially Useful Productive Work) was only included in the report card but practical classes were never held and the most valuable and expensive item submitted was given high grades A,B. I remember submitting brooms, bamboo baskets,sticks and even soaps were common 😀

Dreamz Unlimited, I really appreciate you making this videos. We are only taught to study hard, work hard as students which is the worst advice one can give in this generation. Instead, we should encourage to enjoy their studies and their work. It's important to inculcate skills as students because education alone I helpless if you don't have desired skill. There are many books and online courses which will help them shape their future and give them clarity but we lack those and which is why once we graduate, we become unemployed

If doctors n nurses give awareness to the students how n when to perform CPR etc during emergency situations that would be another skills for them. Every student won't be able to study MBBS. Heads of schools must organize one day special program with health workers n teach them basic skills on health care. Just opinion. Drz U is the best dream.

If all schools had taught the children in this way from the very beginning rather than just memorization of lessons then School would have been interesting

I'm also working on this project of vocational education in automotive trade and i enjoyed teaching...also learn alot through teaching and I'm really having fun... it truly really help myself too and the students making it the education better, the students can now understand their interest and their capabilities which is really helpful for their further studies to which field they should go through.. as most of the students don't know their own trade of education and to through which path they can achieve... It is very interesting to even hear that Pre-Vocational Education for class 6,7 and 8 has implemented this year with the help of "LAND A HAND INDIA" to make them understand more about the VOCATIONAL EDUCATION. Most of the schools, teachers and students also don't even know what vocational education is. but great work DREAMS UNLIMITED making it understand everyone. YES, TO THE YOUTH's AND YOUNGSTER's OF NAGAS- YOUR DREAMS SHOULD BE UNLIMITED. 💌

The general notion about public schools are mostly not positive although a lot has changed over the years. This is one reason our people opt for private schools despite the financial odds. Since education is primary many parents are forced to go the extra mile ( in terms of income) to provide their own a better education -which according to them is affording a private school/ college. The task of public schools today is to help change this notion so that the word TRUST can be build. There is great potential and talent for public schools to thrive if the govt is serious. If the task is achieved it will gradually decrease the mushrooming of private schools and most importantly bring smiles to many families who are weary and heavy laden. To the team -Great message👍

Good content. Great initiative by the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan but it is also to be made known to the viewers that inspite of all the initiatives the teachers under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan are never paid salary in time. Sometimes for over 5-6 months the teachers are unpaid and on top teachers under ssa are divided into categories under batches wherein inspite of getting through competitive examination and gruelling interview some batch of teachers under ssa are given meagre fixed salaries whereas those backdoor appointees enjoy their salary in scale and regularly draw their salary in time. I think our respected PD Shanavas should do something about this too🙏🙏 Balance everything ⚖️

Samagra is unable to do most of its activities, including timely payment of teacher salaries, due to the State Govt's inability to pay the state share of Samagra funding in time. So, if you want to blame anyone, blame our govt leaders and politicians. Moreover, Sir Shanavas cannot do anything about this because he is a bureaucrat. To be able to pay teachers salaries in time, go ask the ministers to sort out the State finances and contribute the State share in time so that things can be done effectively and timely. Also, SSA (sarva shiksha abhiyan) and RMSA (rashtriya madhyamik Shiksha abhiyan) are now defunct. They have been combined together and now called Samagra Shiksha. All teachers employed under SSA and RMSA are contractual employees whose salaries come from the project funds. Any backdoor employment to SSA and RMSA which is REGULARISED is therefore NOT under Samagra Shiksha but directly under Directorate of School Education.

Such initiatives should have been taken long ago. Skill development is more important than formal education. Good job
