The iron that’s found in vegetables etc is in a form that the body can’t naturally use, my blood science lecturer said vegans should drink a glass of fresh orange juice before or after eating vegetables to convert it to the correct form! I can’t remember which was round but it’s ferric vs ferrous and vitamin C is responsible for the conversion!

@RESonatION NATION hi! Don’t worry about diluting stomach acids, your body will be able to readjust! Your stomach is acidic as well as the orange juice, so there won’t be a problem in that respect! Sometimes it can actually help to have a drink to prevent discomfort when digestion occurs! :D

@@mollymay8808 it’ll wotk for anyone it’s probably just recommended for vegans as they have less sources of iron than vegetarians!!

all cats i've ever had (since when i was a kid) have been adopted and have been great house cats. my current cat was found feral (and is a girl) and she's the most affectionate, sweetest thing! my roommate gets annoyed because when im not home my cat wont leave her alone and is looking for constant cuddles. if you can adopt, the cat will love you so much for it!!!!

I get the lip thing on and off frequently, and something that help literally overnight or in about two days time is Neosporin antibiotic ointment. Not sure if they have it in the uk, but the ingredient on the tube says “bacitracin zinc-neomycin sulfate-polymyxin b sulfate” if that helps!

you can get lndoor cats at shelters, they're usually FIV positive so they can't go outside anyway. its quite common and they usually struggle to be rehomed so maybe look into that?

I have 2 cats, one boy and one girl. When I first got them, the boy was definitely more affectionate but as they've grown up, he likes to do his own thing more often and my girl follows me everywhere I go and always wants cuddles.

really recommend getting a ragdoll!! we have two girls and they're the cutest things ever, i was shit scared of cats before i got them and now they're my favourite thing - they'd be perfect for your lifestyle especially xx

I recommend them too you will never find a calmer and cuddlier cat than ragdolls weve got 3, 2boys and a girl and they’re my little angels and so clever and my eldest knows not to use his claws when playing so he retracts them when he’s playing with humans and it’s justsslsjsjsuoxpxk 🥲🥲

I get the split lip thing!!! Use sudocrem and try not to smile too much for a day or two, and then it should heal! I then use vaseline to keep the moisture in for a few day after x x x

My cats were completely feral when I got them. They have adjusted to being house cats very very well. Lots of cats in rescue that are indoor only. Also there are ragdol rescues. Always try to adopt

It’s angular chelititis (that’s roughly how you spell it… I think) I get it loads it can be from a deficiency but I treat mine with thrush cream. Bit awkward to have a tube of canesten out on your desk but I’m telling you it works! I feel for you cause it’s so painful!! 😩

I had a similar “cut” on the side of my lip, my dentist said it was fungal and to put anti fungal cream on it until it goes away. Sounds weird but I put athletes foot cream on it for a few days and it was gone. Hope this helps! Love your videos!

Agreed!! It’s called angular chelitis I get it from time to time. Antifungal cream will clear it up in 1-2 days, at least for me

the lip thing could just be due to dryness, a cold sore, or something called angular stomatitis which is nothing to worry about, its just due to low vitamin b12 levels. I'm a doctor hehe

hey babe gonna diagnose you, not for the lip thing but for the rashes you sometimes get - it could be idiopathic angioedema and it basically means you get random and unknown (idiopathic) swelling of the skin (angioedema) which is effectively what a rash is anyways its really easy to treat just ask your doctor to prescribe you a strong antihistamine xxx

I have this!!! I get swelling of the cheeks and lips and it gives me the little lip cuts due to it! :( I’m on an antihistamine called chlorphenamine it does help loads xxxx

For my family it is the other way around. Ed is our boy cat at the moment and he is not affectionate at all, he is not aggressive or anything and does like being in the same room as people but hates being cuddled. He’s very playful though and loves playing fetch with his (my) hairband and running around. All of our family members who have/had girl cats have said that they are super affectionate compared to Ed. To be fair I think a lot of it also comes from what breed they are and their individual personalities as well. Ed is a tabby.

I love the tofoo smoked one! It has more flavour than the original and is amazing fried with something like mushrooms and spinach on toast 😁
