this is what ive always said to ppl who ask why i dont wear foundation lol. i love watching violet bc i prefer the "natural" makeup look over the caked on, over done look that is so fucking popular right now

i love glossier videos because it's like "do you already have utterly flawless skin? are you already conventionally beautiful? then you too can be glamorous by putting on 5 different $80 moisturizers and then using 2 dabs of our makeup products that barely do anything!" simply inspirational

girl there's already so damn many brands of makeup that are marketed towards people with skin problems and that offer full coverage cake face that ur looking for. let us natural girls have fucking something in a world where clown makeup is so popular

such a great idea! guys are starting to wear makeup more frequently, but most don't have any sort of image of what they're looking for (i.e. most guys aren't wearing drag or really bold makeup looks that most male makeup gurus sport). having a guy put on some glossier style makeup could do so much to normalize it

Flower T I am asian with a medium skintone (a bit like her and maybe darker) and the medium one looks WHITE on me. I tried the dark one this weekend and there is a huge gap. It looked too dark for concealer. Sooo, YUP.

its really hard to find a highlighting concealer for very pale skin so its good they have really light and really dark. There isn't many colours but at least they do have a wide range lol

They only have 5 shades and the difference between all of them is huge. The ‘dark’ isn’t the darkest though, despite its name. There’s another one after it.

But in this one, the white subtitles get drowned out by the light in her apartment making it difficult to read which products she used. Those are my only quibbles. Glossier's products are pretty but don't last on my oily skin. That's not their fault- they weren't advertised as long wearing and obviously have a dewy finish. Since my sister had them I thought I'd give them a try. I hope they make a matte skin tint or powder blush in the future.

Michele Savinsky The blush lasts about 4 hours before fading but I have dark/oily skin. I really like "setting" their blush lightly with a powder blush- that lasts all day. I'm enjoying the colors but I'll likely not repurchase due to the fading.

You know in france it is more common to take care of your skin than just putting makeup. ^^ It is a "old" thing, i see my grandma, my aunt do that. Of course they put a Little makeup but not to much. But there's girl that put a lot of makeup to in France ! ^^
