    WOW I was surprised at how painful that was but it really gave me confidence on where to place my mind and practice breathing I know it won’t be the same but it definitely is painful enough for good practice 😂 Thank you!

    @@hajeralanazi8379 it went very good my labor was fast i labor for most of it at home once I got to hospital I was 7cm .. I went natural no epidural I push about 4 times and she was out 🥰 this was my first time no meds and pushing my first baby was 7yrs ago he was born via c-section….I had her in hospital but it was very beautiful and peaceful the staff followed my birth plan and was very nice and considerate we also had a doula the contractions was no joke but you can do it just breathe and have a made up mind . it comes to a point where you want to give up but know when you get there that the baby is right around the corner (transition phase) stay grounded this was where I needed the most support

    I use a similar technique - every time I stub my toe or otherwise get hurt during pregnancy I use my breathing technique and try and relax my body thru it. It's amazing how much we tense our body up over just a stubbed toe!! You don't realize until you actively try and relax thru pain how much tensing is our default response.

    I always just make it to 30 seconds…and my hands still burn half an hour later 😢 I think for me it would actually be a good distraction from labor pain…..that’s why I’m bringing combs to the delivery room to torture my hands. Maybe it’s a good thing my hands are so sensitive 😅👍🏻

    I just tried this and it was a total torture for me to hold on to it for a min. But I agree it's a good distraction 😂😂 hopefully the actual contraction won't be that painful!

    I don't know if I wasn't holding it tight enough, but it didn't seem to hurt that much. Then again, I've been through labor before.
