I'm just happy that the game doesnt have microtransactions and I even like the fact that its so grindy. Hope future content will expand the difficulty or maybe even online raids

Just a tip for versa is to probably watch a video of the fight. To see what some of the mechanics are. Like when you need to jump or where the safe places are for some of his attacks. It's not to bad tbh it's just mechanics you gotta memorize.

i personally just beated it, the reason it took me 30 trys was not becouse i didn't know how to dodge it but becouse it has a damage test and even maxing dmg cap on my main dps and sub dps was not enought "i literally had to save a x2 burts to break it"@@b00g3rs21

@erwinbraga1170 works exactly the same. 1: Just save before rolling your mastery. If it's not right, then quit out, reload the save and run a mission. After the mission u have another fresh roll ezpz

cant you jsut go into the journal to reset the instance?

I'm hoping for videos on how to do certain objectives in these boss fights. I made my party so OP that I kill bosses before I can do some of the tasks. Can't seem to get the S++ rating because of this and my experiments have failed to figure out how they work.

I havent got to proud yet but one day!

Can you get duplicate signature sigils in future rolls? (Double chr specific sigils) Or does it always give you a sigil you DONT have yet for a character on your roster?

If it’s the double then it’s once only. If it’s the + one then it can get duplicates.

this method also works on over mastery rolls btw. In terms of the curio rolls, it seems that whats in the curios is decided from the moment u get them, however certain fights are apparently more likely to drop specific curios. Arekks gaming has a video going into detail about it, they seem to have found 2 fights that are far more likely to drop war and supp dmg sigils. like they spent hundreds of hours and never got them, then did 10 or so fights of a specific boss and multiple ppl in the party were getting those 2 super rare sigils. i forget the exact boss fights at the moment. i think its maniac volcano boss dude and extreme infernadile but i could be wrong.

Does Lyria journal do the same thing as joining a mission?

Do you know what to break for fortified hearth I havnt been able to get one been grinding for hours

Same method can be done with mastery you just need to do 1 quest to get diffrent rolls. For sigils i recommend rolling till you get dual unique, if not just reset repeat

I found that doing the quest Delts of our lives is a quick way to get curios, it's only a 3400 power goblin warrior boss, that i can beat in about 8 seconds

Transmarvel is unlocked after proud mode. If you haven't done the mission "The Final Report," then you don't have it.

Yeah man 😂 I have been doing this for 2 days now and I have all but 2 specific character sigils with both bonuses.

Ayt so what's get rerolled her is the Transmarvel Sigils and not the ones that you get from Level 3 Transmutation. Got it!

Thank you for this. Sigil crafting and management is by FAR the most tedious aspect of this game.

Curios are tied to bosses and enimys they each have there own loot pool list

You just reminded me i haven't done my transmutation in a while and i just got the sigils that gives both perks unique to a character for my Siegfried . Its hilarious . So thanks! I'll give this reroll tech a shot in the future

I figured out that reset as well. I forget what game it was, but there was something else that would reset the list after each mission, so I figured what if I try that here. Surprised it worked. Might work for rerolling over masteries?

@@Bankai90they did but not in a direct way. Basically the game would be forced to save any time you rolled for decorations. But it functionally stayed the same.

Wait so if I am understanding this correctly are you saying the reroll just requires reloading and then loading in and out again? If so couldn't you speed this up by going into Lyria's journal since it makes you load in and out? I know you can use Lyria's journal to get new quests to appear from NPCs who you just submitted to if they have another one after it so maybe it works for this too. I'll maybe try to see if this works later.

Luckily, Transmarvel is retroactive, so when you unlock it you should have lots of Transmarvel already ready to go! Good luck in your search

I found a better method of acquiring vouchers, All you have to do is do the survival quest assault formation multiple times with level 100 characters And as they level up, you will get vouchers for each character when they level up and As you kill enemies you gain Machine units to trade in for vouchers, they trade for a good number of vouchers

This is where im hoping we get a Synthesis system where we can take two sigils and merge them into one BUT at a very expensive cost. I dont mind RNG in general but when there's layers upon layers of it, i'd like options to counter back luck

I've spent thousands of hours on Monster Hunter World/Iceborne grinding for decoration for my gears repeating the same hunt over & over again. So this level of grinding in GBR is nothing new and im pretty much used to it

Bit if i want damage cap V+... it needs to appear in showroom?

Yeah the sigil system is one thing I was not keen on. However thos work around is much better than Monster hunter's (letting Rajang slap you dead on repeat). Hopefully this doesn't get patched before I'm able to get to EndGame. I'm still doing Mr.FixIt quest for Id.

This method is pretty much how the rng crafting for gems in MH:Rise worked and with the same workaround. Honestly I think the gacha shouldn't exist in the game period. Just let me grind to get what I want, let me kill the monsters that drop the item to combine the unique traits. Let me play the game and reward me for playing not grinding. Make it a reasonable grind. Reward my time spend not time wasted.

The grind is the entire point lol. You can get most things you need without rng. Rng is only for if you’re a hardcore player chasing a perfect build. Monster hunter is like that too. There’s always some part of it that has rng grind. It exists to give something hardcore fans to keep playing for if they want.

@@omegaxtrigun Yeah i mean i dont understand the op's argument. I see it all the time. I guess it's just a case of people want different things from video games. I tend to play games that i stick with for a very long time. Thousands of hours. Then there are people that buy every new game that comes out. So they don't want to stick with one game for more than say 50 hours. But like you said, the rng aspect of this game is for the min maxers. The ones trying to perfect a build. I cannot understand trying to perfect your build if you wont play a lot of endgame. Unless you need the super high tier stuff to get all the trophies/achievements. Which i know the buy every game crowd is in love with.

RNG grind is a horrible padding mechanic. It's highly unrewarding and a massive time waster. You guys basically have stockholm syndrome for what is a gambling addiction. Instead of playing low odds slots machine over and over and finding ways to cheat the system it's far better to simply let the player earn everything with proper effort and playtime. Min/maxing happens everywhere and poor excuses to extend it are nothing but. As even Joesephyr says in the video there's a level of respecting the players time. Replayablility is great but chasing a carrot that has poor odds is never going to be fun. You can claim otherwise all you want but years hearing people lament about how awful grinds and gacha odds are show that people don't like it overall, they simply accept it cause they cant stop it.

Here early! I pulled the plug on online until I get everything I want in fear that they patch it lol

Does this work by going into the trophy screen? I know that resets quest npcs.

@@jjmac1187it didn’t. Not sure why that person would just blatantly lie. Going to the journal still reloads the instance and makes quest npcs reset. But it does not affect your transmarvel or over mastery. Only completing a mission changes the list it uses for the rolls.

Possible, I was save scumming the over mastery for level 80 and it always gave me the same mastery.

So annoying to have to spam A for transmutation... dev need to add numbers

From what i can see too, even if you say run that quakadile, then run a few other missions after, if you come back to the quakadile, it wont change. So i mean i guess we will run out of quests eventually to reset the rolls

Revenge of the Hoard, gives you about 30L crystals and takes 4-5 min to complete. It's maniac difficulty though

You have to beat bahamut versa ( the first proud mission ) My advice hold your Ultimate until he does his purple 1 hit beam , when he charges you just have to use your ultimate , it stops the time so you can damage him enough to stop it. Then do it again because he will do it again at the end of the fight. Good luck 👍🏻

yes, it works on pc. playing it on steam and just rolled 1 transmarvel to try it out. saved before, rolled one having 9 left, went back to the menu and reload the game and i had 10 transmarvels again

I find all of this RNG in GBFR more tolerable than the RNG equipment in Nioh 2. 😅

If that is all you need to do then going into Lyria's Journal should have the same effect. Going into Lyria's Journal will refresh quest availability and chest/blue orbs in town if needed. I'm willing to bet it will reset rng for this too.

As for the length of the game: imagine if you will that they originally made a 60 hour game. (Consider how long it was in development). You cut 40 hours of that, ship with 20. Thats 40 hours of update content done. You start working on that while you drip feed what's done.

Listen man i know you are trying to hit that 10 min mark for the algo but rambling this long for something that could be explained in 2 mins or less is painful to watch.

So, there's actually a very simple explanation for all of this, and I owe this knowledge to all the painstaking hours I spent playing X-COM 2. The game uses seeded RNG. There is no other explanation that makes sense at least as far as I can tell. That means that no matter how many times you reload, the results will never change unless you can go further back and change the circumstances prior to the attempt. This is why doing a random mission works. Again citing XCOM as my example I figured out that if I used a save that was at least one turn prior to the one I was reloading and tried a different sequence of actions, only then would I possibly get a different result. Thus, seeded RNG.

Excellent overview, yes this seeded rng only applied to curio boxes, everything else can be save scumming. Now we just need to find a fast method of curio box farming, im all ears if anyone finds a good method

Huh you're doing this to not do anything but the "fun and challenging content" even though the said fun and challenging content gives you more than enough to constantly aim for perfect sigils? Something isn't adding up or people are in such a thirst for "this is an exploit you can do" that they don't realize the game already gives more than enough generosity under normal play.
