Get Outta Here! - Metal Detecting a 1782 House Permission Digs Up a Rare One!
Ойын-сауық
This Week Dog-Tag Doug, Leroy, and I metal detect an old house built way back in 1782. The property is now owned by a doctor and to get the permission Doug actually made an appointment at his office and sat in the waiting room with all the patients just to talk to him. That has to be the most unique permission I've seen so far, so a huge kudos to Doug! Just looking over the property our mouths were watering with a huge grass yard, massive old trees, and the house... oh man that house, and what it must have seen over the centuries! We knew there would be some incredible treasures found but then a few finds just knocked our socks off! I can't even wait any more, let's go!

You guys...you're so funny together. 😄 You made me burst out laughing 4 times watching the video. Even after rewinding the funny parts and watching them over a couple of times they still made me laugh! Thanks! I needed that today. I like it when you guys hunt together anything can happen or be said. Keep having fun.
My Quest pro pinpointer kit is a matter of just a few stops away coming from Amazon I’m so excited! It’s the wand, digging tool, multi function shovel I can’t wait! Gonna be an all day detecting party! And 65 degrees…. Come on coins!
Roman letter v ? That's funny. Good job guys.
Congrats on the flying eagle Jason, a bucket lister for all detectorists
A hint for the Quarter Hoarder and company that may be helpful. I date coins for Archaeological digs and in the past we have found that a solution of Calgonite Water Softener made into a thick slurry will clean coins with no damage and no staining. It took care of patina that was on coins the size of a quarter but were almost a half-inch thick and after soaking for a week or so took it down to completely clean. Trouble is you cannot find Calgonite anywhere now which is why I am so happy to have bought many boxes years ago. However, some other brand of water softener that is powered and can be made into a slurry might work just as well. However, try that on a coin that has no, or little value to see if it can work. Your patina is nothing compared to that which we see out of digs in Israel. Happy hunting!

Tip for checking coins for designs per Stealth Diggers . Shine flashlight across the face of the coin. Works great!

awesome finds
The object that came up with the brass buckle I initially thought may be a rein guide, but on further reading it may be a 'gag swivel', part of the tack aimed at discouraging a horse from dropping its head.
Great hunt, you guys are rockin it
Great hunt guys...a good day when everyone finds silver keep digging ✌️

Dog Tag Doug Strikes again! Nice Flying Eagle Jason!
never deny dog tag doug a live dig!
I know this is a little late ( still trying to catch up) but the thing you found that you said looks like a mold, I believe is the underside of a toy truck. Looks like the transmission and the points sticking out to the side looks like the axle. Maybe.
Awesome finds everybody!

Great hunt guys, that one find look like a mold of a cannon
the mold is 1/2 of chassis Hubley Kiddie Toy, Made in the USA, Lancaster Penn. No 485. made in the 1950's, cast aluminium. . As soon as I saw it I went and compared it with the one I have , you can fine them on ebay today , you'll have to discount yours, cause it's not all there. enjoyed the video thank you

Awesome finds. The button you found says " Spectamur Agendo" Latin for "Let us be judged by our acts." I think it is a fashion button from the 1960"s.
Smells like butts! 😂😂😂😂 nice hunt guys! Great old property! Now I’m in suspense, what’s in the field?? GL & HH🎧⛏

Hey gang, really awesome finds (I'm jealous)! Incredible find of that coin. I mean dog tag! 😜The shovel went right into the soil easily. Try that here! Lastly, that opossum had some mean teeth!

Leroy’s round thing with the lion almost looked like an old clock pendulum, although the weird shank thing was a little suspect. But another good show as always 🤙
20:30 its a half part of the under part of a toy car. You can see the back bumper, driving shaft, two exhaust lines each sides, the two notches where the wheels shaft would have been. the front part is broken!
I have the same exact half of a tractor here next to me that I found in a yard a few years ago

@@QuarterHoarder yeah they did. Even in the 90s my brother and I would wear out a Tonka toy in just a few weeks.
Great hunt fellas! Your mold looks more like part of the bottom of a toy car. Looks like the rear dif and the handle looks like the bumper.
Congrats on the Flying Eagle
You probably said it before but I am old and possibly forgot - WHY THE BANANA IN THE FIRST HOLE? LOL
@QuarterHoarder
4 жыл бұрын
It’s just a good luck superstition, so if I forget that banana we‘re all doomed! 🙂
Lol possums always get a bad rap...they are a shy nonconfrontational animal and they do not eat cats. They eat ticks, among other things and are good to have around.
Victorian Gilt button. Brass weave pattern
If I had a hatchet! Lol
It’s a key holder!
Hey Jason I noticed that you have the 9 × 5 coil ,have you ever used it on the deep mode? I have ,it was quite impressive on worked out sites.

23:43 wonder what blue thing was under the coin? Possible stone on a ring? marble? did you double check your plug?
Flying Eagle were minted 3 year. 1856, 1857, 1858
A lot of people had holes in their pockets years ago.
New to this and did not get the name of the detectors you three were using? Thanks
Looks like bottom portion to old toy car not a mold
I saw 1857 on the flying eagle
That big pin/button, looks like a Ferrari emblem??
👍
That is a Sambos rest. Coffee token. 10 cents.
Dog tag for Rabies vaccine! Be that cat or dog. Good find
Nice flying eagle Jason! Did you get a date off of it?
Leroy's button said Spectemur agendo
doug was 2 years old when the flying eagle was new lol
