Kosei PTSD, maybe? We've seen in previous games how crazy Kosei gets when it's online and ignored.

Abdel can get scary very quickly. I'm currently building it with Candlekeep Sage as the background. Abdel feels fantastic with any background. Seeing mono white that can suddenly blink out an army fills me with hope.

Your channel is the highlight of my mornings on youtube. Everytime I get on it in the early part of my day, I look hoping for a new mudstah video, thank you!!!

Mat's playmat is so funny

Yo, the Frenchie's deck is based around exileing stuff with his commander that have ETBs and then flickering his commander to have them enter again, get the ETBs and then put them under his commander again and get more tokens. Never thought id see a deck that does that but it looks sweet. Also resets the counters on things like mazemind tome. Dude seems like a good deck builder and I'd love to see that list.

9:19 as how I look at it, casting the Thousand-Year Elixir will win you the game. Activate krenko making 2 goblins and add 8 colorless mana, then untap krenko making 4 more (and 32 colorless mana), for a total of 18 damage to both of your opponents, as well as Purporos can attack Dom.

Oddly enough the deep recap voice adds more intrigue to it 😂 Get well soon Muddstah!

Kosei is a chad. Super risky voltron commander imo, love it. Also nice to see the Duke. I put him in my Kalemne giant tribal deck and he is a powerhouse there.

Could you not have killed them both with Krenko and the thousand year elixer? Play it activate Krenko making 2 more gobs Mana echoes gives 2 colorless Use that to activate Krenko making 4 more gobs That’s 6 etbs, so each of them take 18 from tremors and purpheros?

exactly my thought. Or at least just cast the Elixier to activate Krenko at will, having Mat at lethal.

Duke Ulder is a beast. Insane value while getting attacks in. I made him as Boros mimicking simic with all the value

Why not activate krenko in response to the beast within?

I may be wrong but could you not have tapped krenko in response to the Beast Within before it gets destroyed??

I was thinking the same. He played the BW on your upkeep. It's now your turn so summoning sickness would be gone correct?

8:28 Would Dom not just win at that moment? The original Terror of the Peaks would see the 4 Terror of the Peaks copies (2 from myriad, doubled from Anointed Procession) enter the battlefield, triggering Terror of the Peaks' effect. Additionally, each token of Terror of the Peaks should see each other token enter the battlefield. If I counted correctly, this should be 16 Terror of the Peaks triggers, resulting in 80 total damage not including combat.

@@ScorpioneOrzion Right. For some reason, I was thinking a token was generated for each player, not just for the players who were not declared as attack targets of the original Terror of the Peaks. My bad. In that case, he had 20 damage to take out one opponent if he so chose, but is then left to deal with the other.

When the Terror of the Peaks myriad during combat with the Procession out, shouldn't there be 4 instances of Terror pings? 2 from OG Terror seeing the tokens, then each token will see the other token...

9:16 why not attack Dom for 6 with Purphoros?

On the turn you cast krenko, why couldn’t you just kill both of them with the 1000 year elixir? 3 colorless to cast it, tap krenko now that it has haste, dealing 6 damage and create a bunch of colorless mana with mana echoes and then use 1000 year elixir to untap krenko and tap him again to win?

I think we counted it up and Dom would still be alive, but May would be dead. I would die to Dom on his attack iirc.

@@MTGMuddstah I think you had the game there. Drop Elixir, tap Krenko, make two goblins, deal 6 damage, add six colorless mana. Then use that mana to untap Krenko and tap it again, making four goblins and dealing 12 damage, enough to finish Dom off.

I'm pretty sure that you could have won the turn you revealed the elixir Mudstah with combat damage. Purphuros was a creature.

Just build a Kosei deck with a 100% winrate atm. Really fun atm, but i'm now flagged at the tables! Dom Ulder got aggressive quickly, i love it!

I originally had Extraplanar Lens in the deck to help power out cards faster, but cut it. I just haven't swapped back to normal basics since.

I played against dom's duke ulder many times and I can say for certain that it can Obliterate the table at the same speed as krenko.

Dom actually gets 4 triggers. The original sees 2 tokens entering, so that's 10. And the tokens see the other token enter too, so thats 5 + 5

Doesn't really matter, but you never made the beast token, which would have done three

that is the slowest krenko I have ever seen. boros went off with the early mana vault and fetches. they inly got wasted because the other players had to team up on them.

You just win if you play the thousand year elixir? I don't understand why you didn't Tap krenko, do 6 damage Untap krenko, retap do 12

As someone who's been in Dom's position before, it sucks losing games like this when you've stomp the table the entire match.
