Seems like a quiet, peaceful life in there. You have a good partner, a pretty house of your own, internet connection somewhere remote, and a job you love. Can't see anything missing. Happiness is a relative concept, but in your case it fits.

True freedom means, woman has freedom to choose the life they want, if a woman want to pursue family over career that is great, if woman want to pursue career over family that is great too. I can be a lawyer, an entrepreneur, but I value family above all that is what I will do if I met someone compatible with me. The idea i work and study is to be prepared for life to financially contribute fully or partly, my father passed away when I was very young and my mother instil the art of survival. It is privilege to have stable family, an institution to share love.

That is true. What should be our goal is not what our choice is, but the right to choose without having to justify that choice. Take a man who decided to take care of his children and do the housekeeping full-time, for instance, he would be praised. But if a woman makes that decission she has to apologize. Is that equality? However what is most annoying is that it is ourselves, women, who are denying that freedom to other women. Men do not care, they usually look at us in awe while we are at loggerheads with one another. Besides, I have always believed, that demeaning the traditional housewife lifestyle is like looking down on our women forebears and their labours. We have to be careful not to become our worst enemies.

I can't believe that some people might be so outraged to think that just because a women supports their male partner that suddenly they're totally subservient to them. If one or other of the partners wanted to give up their career/job to support the other then that's okay too. A loving relationship is not about demands, it's about working things out together. So long as partners don't try to suppress each others interests and passions then the relationship has every chance of succeeding. If your unhappy as an individual we can't be happy as a couple.

@@lalalcat251 So true Kate. It's so easy for anonymous people to make assumptions and/or nasty comments on the internet these days. We must ignore that when we know in our heart that those comments are simply not true. Hope your coping okay in this time of madness. It's not so great in Melbourne Australia where I live because of the many over the top restrictions we have right now. They make no sense at all. Unless you have a justifiable reason we're not permitted to travel more than 5 Km's from our home or leave it between the hours of 9 PM and 5 PM. That aside, It's great that Lucy would seem to be in a lovely space and the real life nature of her vlogs are great viewing. Love is a beautiful thing. Cheers.

I see a healthy vibrant woman who is far more on top of the world she has chosen than we get to see. You are not serving Will when you make him lunch while he is hard at work on your farm. Lucy, I wish I could get married, quit everything and serve my farmer husband. I truly do. It would make me so happy and content. I don’t have that chance right now, but should my life come such fortunate point, I would choose to live the farm life without a second thought. And to see that we live in a world where a woman is criticized and pitied for enjoying domestic activities and looking after her loved ones makes me truly sad. It suggests that no true freedom of choice was ever achieved since the first women’s movement, all we did was exchange the general expectations so we can still shun whoever strays from them. Me again.... pumpkins need lots of manure in the ground and sunshine! They always take up a lot of space for sometimes just one fruit.... you can get some varieties that climb!The orange poppy is a different one to the red ones as in it is called meconopsis cambrica or welsh poppy and they are orange or yellow, they grow very well in semi shade and dry soil!The red one you have is like a wild field poppy😊 If you order a kings seed catalogue you can choose seed now , order and be really ready for spring sowing next year!

Thanks for sharing. I got a citrus tree for the first time, a Moro {blood} orange. I was also told that until the tree gets lots of leaves the all flowers should be cut off and maybe only leave a couple to form fruit. I know the feeling; I just want to leave all the flowers and fruit on the tree when mine starts to flower.The fruit takes a lot of energy from the young tree. Those are wonderful container pots that your parents gave you.

Just file his nails or let him outside look for a block of cement for him to scratch on. My aunts dogs are badly kept so they adapted to this problem by filing their own nails when it's overgrown.
