This is exactly how I expect him to act against Celestia in the finale. He should go “Justice for Furina, Focalor and the other lives you so mercilessly slaughtered for you gain” I think this is actually not very far away from him. As of now he does seem to have a dead serious cold tone when talking about Celestia, usurpers and the old world. I wonder how he would act if he was ever given chance to act fully like himself and not the ever proper Iudex that follows the law and no feelings

If not including ships, Neuvillette would *kill* one of the archons if they killed Furina, or Sigewinne. Just.. the thought that Neuvillette now is the strongest at the moment by lore is terrifying. AND ITS ILLEGAL TO BE SO UNRATTED.

@@maaliksmith107yeah, go back and read. Y’all love to twist the actual line to justify your Venti Slander. “I am NOW the weakest of the seven” as in, AFTER he lost the gnosis. We know nothing about his power levels before that. Also Nahida explains that an archons strength is based on the peoples faith in them. Venti is worshipped across ALL SEVEN nations and has an entire cathedral. Venti is hiding something from us and is likely lying about his power levels as of now. He has the queen gnosis, which is THE STRONGEST piece on a chess board.

This can happen, but after the catalysm. Because we see the person who got killed was Sigewinne, and melusines weren't a thing before that. But this 100% fits.

@@sobashuu LOL - as much as I love reading and seeing artwork about this - my theory about the dragons (Apep included as well as Neuvi) is that they value "life" above all else - as truly creatures of the light realm prior to Teyvat's creation (and why they both use attacks that involve DNA helices somehow!), so while I feel like I could well-imagine his rage... I'm not sure he would drag innocent lives into it. (Although it'd be a near thing, and what do I know - it's all a best guess at this point!) Mostly, I am relying on canonically what happened to Carole and Vautrim and his self-control there, and the measured response he had even though the way he addressed the narwhal was the closest we've come to seeing true anger from him following Focalors... well... everything. TT_TT But I LOVE reading/seeing stories about it. Just as a what-if - and because it's spine-chillingly impressive. I do wonder if people absorbed the true implication that he essentially converted water to blood in all the Fontainians and that the average living beings' body is mostly water. I'd imagine I'd not want to anger a being who has ABSOLUTE authority over that element. (And Venti is a great counterpart to that since air is nearly as essential - except for anaerobic organisms. :D)

I believe that since Sigewinne's hat is there, a body is near it, and there's another melusine laying down farther away, some melusines were killed.

But like... it doesn't even have to be blood. A human can die with the fluid shifts in the brain unless it's VERY CAREFULLY reversed (happens when people's salt levels get too low OR too high), and dehydration can kill a person faster than starvation. Like, literally, he's pretty high on my list of Genshin characters that I would NEVER want to piss off. (Not in the least because I LOVE him - but that's another matter altogether. XD)

Haha don’t worry about the comment length, I think it shows how much you liked my work 😄💗 On the points about Neuvi’s characterization, I honestly agree to an extent (in one draft, Neuvi actually threatened Raiden and Morax instead of Mond) 🙏 It was one of my concerns while I was plotting the animatic out, but I eventually decided that this is just self-indulgent rot and I didn’t need to think so hard on it 😆 I left the explanation at a desire to bring Neuvi to a breaking point and “an innocent life for an innocent life”. Plus, allowing neuvillette to claim his vengeance was also another reason haha Anyways, I’m glad you enjoyed!! Hopefully we see more Neuvi in future AQs (Side note and shameless self promo… but if you like wriolette I post a decent amount of bittersweet content on Twitter ^^ no pressure to check it out tho ofc)

My fanfic mind had turned on. But before I ramble, let me say, HOLY MOLY THE ANIMATION WAS STUNNING! The smoothness of the lightning and Neuvilette’s turn was amazing! Not to mention the glowing hair! Venti looked so scared and omg it was awesome! And now, I will ask you to feast your eyes upon the one thing that his waves never drowned. TW: Death, Blood, etc. Celestia knew what it was doing. It knew as he slayed countless people, all innocent to him yet vile to the god above him. Venti felt the air change, the blood in his disguise turned to ice as he reverted into his proper form to keep his mortal skin alive. Wings sprouted from his back, his haunted eyes met those of Neuvilette. Venti knew of the Sovereign Dragons. He knew of the power they possessed, and Morax had told him. He knew he was staring into the face of the Hydro Dragon that not only was he outmatched but he was done for. Simple as that. The anemo archon looked upon what he had done, the countless asphyxiated bodies lay at his feet. Meeting Neuvillette’s gaze, he felt anger so strongly trying to drown him in his gaze. Neuvilette simply looked at the bodies on the shore, a cold detachment in his eyes. “Get in the water.” Venti looked up at the dragon and was met with not only anger, oh no, there was so much hatred and guilt from centuries of being powerless against the one god they were forced to serve under! Venti felt the blood that had splattered and crusted his face as he went to speak, only for Neuvilette to cut him off. “Get in the water.”
