This video is about how to get centimeter-level accuracy in GPS GNSS projects. Firstly we will compare the GPS and GNSS followed by basics behind it. Then we will perform an experiment to compare the performance of Neo 6M GPS module (GPS) and the ZED F9P Application board (GNSS). This video also covers basic of C099 F9P application board.

    Congratulations on the very useful tutorial. I ask you for advice: with a ZED-F9p in rover configuration, detecting more points I get a very quick fix but I see the points detected on the Google map of SW Maps, about one meter away from the real position.     Maro, como vai? Td bem? Vc deve trabalhar com topografia como eu. Sou engenheiro agrimensor, e tô buscando informações sobre esse sistema também. Tem pessoas da área de topografia que já montaram, postaram no Facebook, mas não dão nenhuma dica, nenhuma resposta sobre como montar um. Realmente é muito caro um gnss com rtk, por isso eu queria arriscar montar um desses apresentado aqui. Vc tem alguma informação já de qual seria o mais adequado, se grava arquivo no rastreio estático?

    is some application for android in which i can change options of reciever? for example input access for correction input for rtk. do you know about emlid gnss? can i use it like it?

    Thanks for your video. Do you connect your application board to internet to obtain 2 cm of accuracy? If you do not access to the internet you must use two of this module, one for mobile and one for base. Is it correct?

    RTK systems usually require a fixed base station. Did you have to set up one ?

    Microcontrollershub Mine currently is selected to use GPS, GLONASS & SBAS. I have a M8N currently and have ordered the ZED-F9P but I wanted to ask should I select the same satellites or select every satellite available? Thank you

    +Lucian Vaduva Yes you can easily use it with any microcontroller. The provided board uses UART/USB to transmits data. You can select the port to share data with the tool provided by manufacturer

    Hello. Hope you are doing good. Nice explanation. Can you tell me the difference between RTK vs RTK with dead reckoning in your experience? I know the basic explanation. But I want to know practical difference in terms of accuracy. do I need RTK with dead reckoning if I am using it in environment as you shown in your video?

    @@user-uj4gr9ql4m LOL I found the answer by myself and already completed my projects.. practically, only with dead reckoning, I achieved an accuracy of less than +/- 1 meter. I didnt use a base station.. if I used a base station, the accuracy might be even higher..

    +Marko Balkovec Well that is a good question, ideally you still have a open sky (not closed like ithe building) so you can expect to have accuracy of half meters I think. I can go and check that out for you if you want ☺️

    thanks but zed f9p is not cheap and also you must buy rtk l1 l2 antenna to use it. they are not cheap as you told I guess. thanks for video.
