From what I've learned. Dive bombing is the easiest way to get into those caves. So you did great 😄

I had having a difficult time then I did the same thing you did and came in through the side and it worked.

I've had good luck using slow flight and sticking very close to the wall to get down to the caves, and then slip in from the side.

This has aggravated me to no extent. So I just put it down for a bit then try again ugh.
