If you're designing your own website, before you upload photos to your website, make sure to reduce the files size. This not only helps with your page speed when visitors come, but also Google rewards those who have quick page loading speed by ranking you up higher. If you don't have Photoshop, I recommend using www.compressjpeg.com. Once you reduce the images, make sure to rename all of your images with the keyword you want to be found for, i.e. "luxury-wedding-photographer-san-fransisco."
