Rolly won rounds purely on aggression, wasn't that effective. Rolly did look huge next to Tank, I didn't realize he was so damn big. Tank fought the perfect smaller fighter type of fight. The only thing Rolly exposed was that Tank knows how to be patient and stick to his game plan. Rolly exposed that Tank has great boxing IQ beyond his power.

Nah Rolly exposed something else......... His chin, he looked like a cartoon when his head was bouncing down the ropes. Solid attempt but he got outclassed. I said the same thing about his size though it almost looked like Canelo versus Bivol.

I think he fails to realize tank gives early rounds away. He knows he's good enough to box later on and get them back. Tank also plays chess and started laying the ground work in the early 4th round for that shot. Rolly is salty. He talked alot of shit and didn't really do shit. Tried to throw a wrinkle and come out tactical after saying he'd pressure. I watched a mostly uneven fight after tank measured range and timed him up. Rolly is a competitive fighter and really does want to run it back but I don't see any reason to think there might be a different outcome.

Tank learned from the Cruz fight that the whole world expects his uppercut and threw a different punch. It didn’t seems like a hard punch but the punch you don’t see is the one that hurts you the most.

Plus it also helped Rolly ran right into it. Usually people revert to what they know after getting hit. Rolly lunges and swings wild it works against lesser competition . After he got hit a few times he couldn’t help himself and didn’t stay patient.

Rolly beat himself both in and out of the ring. Too much trash talking and not enough humility makes you make the costly mistake he made. Truthfully, he put some punches to Davis and it showed just look at the swelling on his face. Unfortunately, boxing is not just about brawn but brains of which Gevonta displayed pure tactical boxing patience and timing at the right moment. Beautifully done!

"I got caught with a good shot.Thats all". Thats what boxing is about! Hitting your opponent with a good shot ( or to not get hit by a good shot). Sorry Rolly, you did ok, but everything you said you would do did not happen. And you can't see that. Tank won fair and square, easily.

It’s the people around him, trainers etc not putting it in his ears early on about fundamentals. I really hope he’s been in the lab working on shit. This rolley kid the same thing.
