TRUMPET!! yeh this isnt what the N64 put out through my aged tube tv speakers when I was a kid but this was what my imagination made it sound like awesome to see ArtificialFear collab!

I remember you made his version of the Cadence of Hyrule soundtrack, so I think of it like a sort of remaster on a cover. That being said, I'm glad to see you give Zelda another cover, and what amazing work you gave it! Keep it up! ♥

I'm also pretty sure @ArtificialFear's covers were also (one of) my first foray into metal video game covers! (Maybe you'll also rememeber Sammolo? He also had a pretty badass cover of Gerudo Valley) Ah, those were the days!

I feel like I've just heard this song so much I stopped appreciating how good it is. It's a really good song. The fact its only in 1 game from over 20 years ago and I could still hear it so much I got tired of it speaks volumes about just how great it is.

It's been years since you've covered a song from a game I've played, and I'm so happy you did this one.

Holy hell the ending gave me chills, transitioning into the Requiem of Spirit, with the added flair of a tiny bit of Ganondorfs theme from ToTKwas just superb.

Man oh man, I came into this video with a "oh another Gerudo Valley cover" but this rendition KILLED IT. Honestly, so freaking well done! The pinch (2:38) at the beginning of solo was sexy.

The first video game guitar song I ever looked up on KZread was a cover of Gerudo Valley, back before I had even thought about learning how to play guitar. It's amazing how such a song can inspire people to wanna pick up music, and in my mind it brings musicians and gamers alike so much closer together. Awesome cover Jules, you did this song justice.

The ending was the cherry on top of the cake❤

if you havent seen it...Dr. Pez made a YT video thats basically a Prog Rock/Metal Medley of many OOT songs (45 minutes long). It's possibly the greatest "original" cover of any video game music i've seen.

As a child playing OoT on the N64, I usually went to Gerudo Valley for two reasons: Jumping off of the bridge into the river below and this song.

This literally made my day better. I was sitting at my desk bouncing around in my chair while typing like mad. I had no fewer than 3 coworkers ask me what I was listening to, and after I sent them the link, they started bouncing around in their chairs as well. No wonder we're the disruptive unit. XD

FamilyJules has never disappointed with one video.

There were many times I looked over at my imaginary friend next to me, brows furrowed, head boppin, lips pursed and I whispered "niiiiceee." And then the requiem of spirit at the end got a quiet "hohhhh." So good. As I get through the first of month of my third year of my music major, it's fantastic to me how many things are transferrable between metal rock and "classical." you're so damn good.

I have always loved this song since I first heard it and this cover brings me so much happiness. Absolutely smashed it with the mixing and instruments here and I especially love the short Requiem of Spirit and Ganon bit at the end. Just such a nice little touch you don't here anywhere else :)
