Hearing this wonderful 60's classic now---------and, seeing the young Gerry Marsden & the guys as they were back then--------it just makes me so sad. Time has flown by far, far, too fast. In that summer of '64, I was 17 y/o, heading to 18 , & all of life was ahead. RIP, Gerry & The Pacemakers, & Thank-you for all the music you gave us.---------MJL, 77 y/o

I feel like that also, that time has flown by and I am only 40. But my parents raised me on this kind of music. Growing up, my friends didn't know any of these songs and I couldn't relate or share with them but I found my husband who also grew up with this music so we are now showing our 1 year old son, so he will know it and hopefully pass it on to his children ❤ But be happy, u got to live in the era we wished we lived in! Take care!

Nice, MJ. I just heard this song in the movie An American Rhapsody after not hearing it for soo many years…man, the feelings that came pouring out when I was listening were something else. Like I was back there in HS and hearing it for the first time. I’m 75 this year, what a time we grew up in.

Thank you sweetie, you're so filled with love and you're so thoughtful. Yes I was crying today, but now I'm feeling much better. . Ever you come to New York. I am going to give you that pizza. There is the best pizza in the entire United States. And I only live like half a town away from it. Okay let me go later. Bye
