Thanks for the info. If you are applying from west Africa i think you should use the block account option.

That's right - this may increase your chance of acceptance. In any case, if you do not have a blocked account, you can apply with what you have, you just never know :)

The job seekers visa is valid for 6months so the blocked account should be calculated for 6months. 12 months is for students.

Hi Dami, The blocked should be a minimum of 12 months allowance, so for one year. For accommodation, either you show proof of a house contract or statement from a resident in Germany that has accepted to let you stay with them.

The German language visa will only allow you to come to Germany to learn the language. You’d need another visa for Ausbildung, meaning you may have to go back to India and reapply. Hope this helps!?

You need to show proof of your residence, that you have provision for accommodation.

Your bank account statement won’t be accepted. You’d need a German blocked account from accepted banks. Yes, Expatrio can facilitate the blocked account opening and processing for you.
