Thank you. I´m smiling here while seeing your reaction. For Germany it´s an big exception to send an Rock/metal Act. Normaly its Pop, ballads or Schlager that participates for germany in the ESC. A big reason for this is that in the mainstream Media/radio Metal, with a few exceptions isn't playing it at all. There are some exceptions like Metallica „Nothing else matters“ or when I´m remember correct I have heard Rammstein „Ohne Dich“ a few times and some Linking Park too. What is a pity, in particular cause the worldwide most successful german artist are Hardrock or metal Bands. To name some of them: Scorpions, Rammstein, Blind Guardian, Helloween and the rising stars from Electric Callboy So it´s much fun to see that the Media/Radio is now forced to play Blood and Glitter. Lord of the Lost founded in 2009 The have allready 11 Studio Albums (3 of them acustic) If you would like to watch more from LOTL. The have a tones of very good Music videos. To start with I would recommend Priest, Loreley and the ballad "see you soon". If you wan´t to see how passionate Metalheads in general and german Metalheads can be. I would highly recommended to watch Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016. Have a nice day Best wishes from germany

Thanx for your reaction and your thoughts. Lord of the Lost: Dark rock meets goth meets glam metal meets synths including a perfect mixture of clean and harsh vocals down to growls. They are a rabbit hole with so many different styles and moods. They recently supported Iron Maiden across Europe and will do so this year again. So they they definitely know how to play a huge stage. They are great musicians and released beside their regular albums three acoustic „Swan Songs“ longplayer with a classic ensemble. Their newest album „Blood and Glitter“ was surprisingly released end of last year with only one week of preselling and hit #1 of the German album charts.
