Today we will start our walk tour in Königswinter, Germany, close to the old Castle Ruin Drachenfels. We will be walking then at the city center, which is a small town and summer resort in Germany. Hallo, wieder ein schönes, für mich nostalgischen Video. Bin oft mit dem Schaufelraddampfer von Bonn nach Königswinter gefahren, war herrlich im Sommer. Und auf den Drachenfels konnte man als Kind auf einem Esel hochreiten, das waren noch Zeiten! Alles Geschichte, aber freue mich sehr, nochmal virtuell Teil zu haben, danke für Ihre interessanten Ausflüge

Hallo! Vielen lieben Dank wieder, das freut mich zu hören! Diese Tour wollte ich schon fast nicht hochladen wegen dem schlechten Audio (mein Mikrofon hat nicht funktioniert an dem Tag). Gut, das ich es dennoch gemacht habe :) Freut mich, dass ich Erinnerungen an die damalige Zeit wecken konnte!

Thank you very much! I held myself back all the time, because I thought people don’t want „more“ , like fancy intros with music etc. Now I realized that people like this style and slowly giving out more and more :) currently preparing my first narrated/guided video, as a test. And sorry for the bad audio in this one!

Thank you for sharing these videos! I can't wait for COVID to finally be under control so I can head back over. I spent a lot of time in the Rheinland, in Meckenheim, Bonn, and Cologne. If you have a chance, check out Linz am Rhein just down the river from Konigswinter. I stayed there for a week in 2017...another unspoiled medieval town.

I have some family in the Rheinland and my aunt had a house in Konigswinter for a while. It's a long time ago but I remember us visiting there from England on a sweltering hot July day or two or more in 1977,when I was 12. Me,my sister and three cousins playing and chasing about in her decent-sized garden,which I seem to remember was at least partially walled and raised some feet above the level of the street outside the front,while the adults chatted and my aunt smoked as she always did.
