That is so great to save these wonderful pieces of history. The Panther is one of the greatest tanks of WW2. Unfortunately it came along a little late when they couldn't be produced in really large numbers. I hope it gets restored and lives to ride again!!!

Germany produced over 6000 panthers. It wasn’t a matter of numbers or time of deployment. They were notoriously unreliable, and despite having an amazing gun and armor more were lost to mechanical failure than to enemy fire. That being said it’s amazing to see more of them being saved and restored.

Here in Australia we have rebuilt tanks that were just flat plates

Guten Tag. Fantastic video. Fabulous military vehicles. The Panther needs a little bit of loving care and attention to detail to get it back in running condition. Take a few pointers from the Aussie Armor guys, they know how to rebuild. Cheers from Arkansas.

The Panther in the Australian Armour Museum was rebuilt in England, and shipped out to Australia. However, the AAM is more than capable of carrying out its own restorations with complete success.
