I really enjoyed this video and I found it really helpful. I’m a total beginner in German. It is really helpful that you are explaining everything slowly and adding bits and pieces of Germans in your English sentences, this is really helpful to learn. I love the examples with pictures this helps me remember words better. Will keep going with your videos they’re super helpful

Hi ! Your german lessos videos are very interesting and amazing with repeatedly slow and clear pronunciation. To know our level, would you please write the levels on the videos, for example: begining level, intermediate level and advanced level with numbers: 1, 2, 3,...etc. in each video. I definitely need to work on my pronunciation. After years of interest in learning German, i have finally reached out and made some German friends. Speaking with them has made such a huge difference. I definitely recommend speaking as often as possible, even if you get lots wrong. There's nothing wrong with it.

How did you reach out and find german friends?? I'm assuming you live where there aren't any german speaking individuals

I used the rule for the"ei" or ie combinations as follows : If the e is last it is pronounced like an e (ee) and if the i is last it is pronounced like an i (eye). Also, the e at the end of a word is pronounced like an "a."

I once had a co-worker who was trying to learn German with Duolingo. We worked in a kitchen, and he had once asked me how many eggs we have left in the refrigerator. I answered him in German (because he was trying to learn) "Wir haben sechs." He not only misunderstood what I was telling him, he wanted to know why I had said such a filthy thing. My German pronunciation is very good (it's the vocabulary I need to increase), so it sounded like something rather filthy indeed. Just a word of warning...

I've been putting off even starting to learn German for months because I've been spooked by the idea of pronouncing things incorrectly, and Duolingo doesn't have a handy dandy pronunciation guide for German like it does for Japanese and Chinese. But! This has helped me a ton, and I think I'm finally feeling ready to start my journey!! So thank you very much for your excellent guide
