And considering that America had started working on heavily armed and armoured naval vessels in order to combat Spain's own armoured ships which allowed them to win, would mean that the overall effectiveness of the American navy would be much greater than Germany had originally prepared for.

@@sarttee it makes sense. Japanese and German technology was quickly going forward. Maybe here, Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and destroying much bigger part of the Fleet. In meantime, Japanese could have more Yamamoto class battleships.

It said the Churchill taxi accident took place in December 30, but it actually took place in December 13. And interesting note, in 2008, Codemaster ,the Fall of Liberty's publisher, was involved searching for the descendant of the the driver, who was the one struck Churchill by accident, to honor his contribution to history and they did found of his whereabouts, which he died in 1989.

Not as bad as Band of Brothers doing a full episode on private Blythe and then get his death completely wrong in more ways then one.

Ah, yes. Another interesting game portraying an alternate universe. It might not have been the best compared to AAA titles, but the campaign was very unique. I got chills when the ME262’s did a flyby at the beginning and even more when NY was falling apart.

The weapons are giving me a Resistance: Fall of Man vibe for the German weaponry. It’s based upon weapons we know of, but advanced.

Well...that was the point. There basically Germans real world weapons from ww2, but upgrades to 1952 standards. Example: the MP-50, Gewhr-47, etc.

@@takitachibana1267 well, some of it is. Our early rocket technology for sure, but a lot of it was US originated as well (particularly our electronics, radar, and jet engines) I’d throw in assault rifles too, but I think that’s more of difference in doctrine at the time.

Would we fun despute so many game was taking place as actual history, but alternate universe wpuld be a special experience for some case.

@@nicaalex6062 Nah, Wolfenstein is well after an invasion is lost in a world where the Americans still fought alongside the Brits.

The only fun part of this game was the first few missions and that was really just because of the opening vistas and invasion.

Oh man I remember playing and loving this game and still do i called it a cheap version of wolfenstein the new order but I still have it

This game was the most *alright* game I’ve ever played. The enemies were dumber than bricks and the layouts were confusing at times. But there was never a point where I said “fuck it, this game is shit, I’m out”. If your bored and got nothing better to do, then it’s worth a play. Just don’t expect it to be the Mona Lisa.

This actually could've happened had Hitler continued with the proposed plan of a plane that could drop a bomb in New York. He could've stopped the Normandy invasion with said plane. But Hitler didn't (possibly because of the air force being useless) and/or the fact that he saw the plan as a waste of time and resources.

This video gave me some other jet fighter ideas for my story in progress...

I really loved this game besides the fact there were barely any true secondary characters

I've never seen a luft 46 game like this before, this is amazing

It's amazing how identical all these late 2000's shooters looked to eachother. Turning Point, Haze, Resistance 2, Timeshift, Clive Barkers Jericho, Turok, I mean jesus, no wonder people got kinda sick of the samey-ness of it all.
