Unfortunately, Germany will definitely get hit hard since a significant portion of their output is related to exporting to those countries with out of control debt. I believe it is about 50% of their GDP. (To add: the US only has about 1/10th of their GDP on exports.)

Germany is struggling not for it's Russian oil dependence,but for being a servant of U.S.

(Thatcher). I wonder if the household (Germany in this case) should cancel it because their financial condition are poor.

Cheap energy is absolutely critical... And they threw it away when they sided with the US over Ukraine. There may well have been numerous other problems - but that was the hammer blow.

Might be a bad idea. Laws are a hard limit. They will prevent you from momentarily increasing your debt in an effort to stave off a preventable crisis. The better way is for us to elect governments that abide by fiscal prudence even in the face of domestic political pressure.

In India the cars sales are going up and the purchase of house are increasing, we are real estate developers in Agra,India and we are seeing increase in sales after 2016. The real estate sector was pretty much in recession after 2016, but it's healing and i hope the boom reaches here too.

The reason why Germany has this law preventing it from spending is because Germany was and still is known to be secure and financially stable because their dept is quite low. They're not chased by suffocating dept like other countries, who borrowed unsustainably. And because it won't spend like an idiot now either it will continue to be the sick nation of Europe until the country has sustainably fixed its energy supply, which will still take some years. But as they're plenty of jobs though it's economic slow down living in Berlin I'm not very worried 🍹

Simple answer is following american interests, while usa is growing, germany is falling back.

Keep in mind who will make usa pay back when so many are dependent on them. usa tomorrow could simply say we are not paying anything to anyone and there is no one who can make them pay. usa is trying to get rid of those who can Russia, China. usa make it look like they are helping, but the reality is they are helping themselves to preserve their hegemony, dominance.

I am German, and i can say we still take from russia, just over a middle man. We take it now from Belgium (from Russia), Katar which is also not really a deomocratic partner... There are a lot of political decisions which are not really well done.

I am living in germany and yes, the situation is not at all good. There is huge inflation, low wages, high energy prices, labour storage but no new recruitments, strikes etc etc.

This is what you get when you subsidize your EU agrarian sector and demand unequal contracts with non- EU states such as Turkey and Ukraine. The flow of Ukrainian agrarian products undermine the profit of EU made agrarian products. Poland is dealing with this RN. The EU subsidizes several agrarian sector such as the diary sector as well so the farmers protesting were living under a big fat lie. The agrarian sector in EU is not profitable, and now they see the consequences. The only solution is to make farming more inclusive with what Nature can provide and that means the customer needs to cut out consuming diary and meat every day. When Climate Change is hitting, it starts of course with sectors closest to Nature itself.

I think it's good not to make too much debt and have a debt brake. See at yourself. Debt will destroy you eventually.

Who is the winner? Russia borders US in the Arctic territories with huge oil shelf. Goibal warming will hurt a small island coutry like UK the most. I wish Germany was a smarter country.
