Exactly. I also read they are very loving and romantic with their cheetah male partner. I saw on a video a cheetah couple, both in love with each other. They were licking each other down in the face and kissing almost using their tongue. I was quite an integer buy that amazing how sentimental they really are and they take very good care of their cubs too. I sometimes wonder is that why Greda likes to snift Messi's back side. Although he gets very annoyed when she's trying to get his attention he won't give her. Maybe she's interested but he's not bc he is fixed.

It's beautiful to see how Gerda loves running around the yard. She misses it with the leash. Hope the fence goes up soon.

Agree. She's a runner and a chaser.. The reason she loves chasing Messi. he gives Greda a really good chase she is dying for those chases bc it's in her blood to just chase and run.

Me too. If I was 30 years younger, I think I would emigrate to Russia but I'm too old now. I live in the UK which has really become a horrible place to live.

I’m still amazed at how both big cats (Messi and Gerda) are trained and so well behaved..! If possible, I am hoping these big cat owners can travel the world and teach their techniques.

Probably better if they offer virtual sessions because that would be hard on Gerda and Messi. Either they would miss their human ‘parents’ or they would need to travel with them. Either doesn’t seem like that would be good for them.

I also read somewhere that, if Messi were to go to another country and then return to Russia, Sasha and Masha would be considered as bringing a wild animal into the country even though he was born and raised in Russia. This, Messi and Gerda sadly can’t travel abroad. It’s illegal to bring wild animals into the country. 😔

Hopefully the new fencing will arrive and be installed soon so both cats can roam the yard again. Perhaps taking Gerda for walks on leash more frequently would help her calmness and confidence particularly in case of some emergency situation. She is so good with people and learning that walking on leash will be easy. 💗💖

As much as I wish all animals could live their lives naturally and in the wild, if circumstances prevent that from being an option, I am glad that people with knowledge and means can help these animals live long lives safely under human care.

Hi Sasha and Masha ! 👋 I watched both videos and all I can say is that Messi and Gerda are very well trained as well as having their natural curiosity and being cautious... Both seemed to be happier being on the leash... I remember the video where Messi was not leashed and refused Sasha's "temptations" to come outside the yard without a leash... ( I had a cat who waited for me to leash him before going out... He felt safe with me there and when I would put him on a type of "dog run" with a leash... ) And Gerda wound up happily going back "home"... But, since neither Messi nor Gerda have shown any inclination to jump the fence and "run wild"... A higher fence seems unnecessary... But, if local or Federal law requires it...

There is the law requirement and the new fence will be made of wood and designed in a way Gerda's enclosure wall is designed.

Sadly people are afraid of what they do not understand-We have become so disconnected from our true selves! I lived in the wilderness of BC Canada as a small child! We had bears, cougars, elk, moose, deers, wolverines, minks, weasels and many other predators! We had a Bobcat move in and he was my only friend until I went to school! There were no children where we lived but because of the animals I was never lonely! We hada German Shepard, a Golden Lab, 2 workhorses-( Belgian ) and a family of Eagles! We lived along the Fraser River & Canyon! We were very Blessed!

I really like to observe her tail. She has such a personality, and she is delightful to watch. Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope in future that you would be able to afford a bigger area for your wonderful animals to run around in. Both your Messi and Gerda seem to be happy and healthy. It must be a great responsibility for your family to take care of these animals.

They did buy the lot behind them and have plans to develop it for the cats. I suspect that maybe they have become good friends with the neighbor and want easier access back and forth. Just guessing.

Как не крути ,а Котодети увствуют дискомфорт от того,что забора нет !Это очень ощютимо!Но ,хорошо ,что это временные и необходимые неудобства!Конечьно девочке Пятнышку ,ну оооочень хотелось продефилировать ,но с папой ,дальше ,но нельзя ,поводок опять таки тревожит!!!!Но это тоже временно !Побежала к привычному забору ,а потом к себееее,в свои хороооомы !!!!Правильно солнышко ,Гердочка ,привычно ,уютно ,заааамечательно !!!!!

Well, this is interesting the new yard view. That should keep Greda's interest busy with the view. She now has a lot more to look forward to seeing when she gets to walk freely in the open space yard..(thumbs up!) I like the new designs on the property. We see the new glass enclosure serves a good purpose. Messi gets to look out the glass and see everything. He's not inside, chirping bc before he couldn't see what was going on before the glass being put in and Greda gets familiar with children next door that's a plus in the event the mom whines up with a tummy. This way the cats would be familiarized with a child around. Just saying. (smile) From the New York area. USA

I thought the 1st thing too until I have seen Mess get his heart up and just walk into the neighbor's yard. He got a pat on his hind and knew where he really lived at. He was testing the waters.(LOL)

А красиво смотрятся два участка! Зелёненькие! Смотрю с телефона и подумала сетку рабицу натянули между участками, солнышка побольше всем захотелось..
