Geraldton WA a drive around town

On the 3rd of June 1851, the town site of Geraldton was declared and the first sale of Geraldton lots were sold by public auction in Perth. Geraldton was originally called Gerald's Town after Governor Charles Fitzgerald (1848-55) but later shortened to Geraldton. In 1871, Geraldton was officially proclaimed a town.

I've lived in Kalgoorlie and am currently in Geraldton with my partner. Fantastic town in terms of scenery, but we think once we have finished my business here, we will leave. Given that it's a regional city, the job opportunities could be far worse, but the lifestyle here is monotonous. Most of the younger people that I talk to here want to leave for Perth or the East Coast and I can't really blame them.

The ocean views were nice..haven't been to Kalgoorlie yet so it's on the list. I'll have to research best places to visit in Kalgoorlie..
