Honestly this brings back so many memories of the older Gepard. I used it as a tank destroyer by flanking and spanking the sides of tanks. Light tanks/vehicles didn't stand a chance, and aircraft were easy pickings. I loved it so much I tali'd it. Now I'm thinking about going back to unlock this one! Thanks Malzi!

If you want a new tank to do this with, and feel like suffering through a new line - go for the AMX-30 DCA. Such a fun vehicle. I wish the old 8.3 France lineup still existed, easily my best time of fun in WT. AMX-10 RC, AMX-30 B2, AMX-30 BRENUS, AMX-30 DCA. The AMX-10 RC is still my most played tank even after so long (I dont play that lineup ever now)

Absolutely not. None of the tanks higher than 6.7 have any armour. Also every Russian tank on its br has massive higher penetration and also armour. And a Russian mid also is nearly as fast as German mids

@@TAILSPIN589 at 11.7 wow. The 292 has 600+ penetration at 10.3 and every other russian tank at 10.3 has around 550mm penetration.

that virtual cop "somebody help me" always gets me. I hated those fucks when I was playing that game as a kid.

malzi, for future reference, the default 35 belt can pen a lot of turret cupolas and then frag the turret crew like it’s aphe. i’ve killed t72 turms, m1a2s, and more just by spraying at cupolas.

I'm waiting for the Gepard 1A2 to get it's thermals and IRST, though it might be a while. At least for now they should fix the radar so it doesn't fold backwards (the "no standing" label should be pointing up)

Trying to play Russian lights at 8.0 is a lot harder when German teams spawn like six of these at once.
