So glad Georgie is still performing almost 60 years after I first saw him, quality and talent lasts and he has that in abundance. Great to see Zoot Money and Madeline Bell as well, just needed Alan Price, Brian Auger and a mention for the late great Graham Bond to complete the set. Happy days.

I love collecting albums on vinyl records since a teenager in the 1990's I put my georgie fame albums alongside my alan price records Cliff bennet & the rebel rousers Mose alison Steve winwood Brian auger julie driscoll Donovan Well'' you get the picture, anyone or anything that was connected from the times they called the 60's. Ive been obsessed for as long as i can remember. Blue mink are in there because i had the 45 good morning freedom on the philips label when i was five. Madeline bell has been a long time huge influence on me. I can remember her on a dusty springfield documentry saying how dusty used to tell her bass guitar player on how she wanted his tone to sound by asking him to use a certain thickness of plectrum. Well'' that inspired me. Twiggy was the face of 66 i love watching the V short clip of her dance to the tamla motown hit jimmy mack by martha reeves & the vandellas. Next summer im hoping to join the local mods club so i can show off my 1964 baby blue vespa 90. I was watching the joe meek story earlier today on here, which gave me some sort of 1960's vibe on what it was like. The 1965 NO 1 hit single by tony hatch & jakie trent called where are you now my love transports me to 65 even though it was many years before i was thought of. Timeless classics, but its my form of time machine😊

Have always loved Georgie Fame's musical talent as a musician and his vocal, unique style going right back to the 60's. The UK produced some great artists at that time, Zoot & Madeline included. It may seem 'dated' to the new genre but this is a lesson in the joy/love of a particular brand of music still enjoyed to this day by these true artists. Bravo.

Most youngsters are not really interested in music history, its only if they become musicians that they slowly realise. I was born late78 but instantley recognised the forceful talents from the past, likely because firstly a lot of the greats were played by my parents and secondly i was ultimately over joyed by the operation & stylish looks of the autochanger turntable of a 1960's record player. I became obsessed with record players from the era and the company labels of records. I spend a lot of my time today professionally repairing them. I too somewhat cannot help feel a little frustrated from time to time that most of todays teenagers cannot take the inspiration from these legendary musicians thats always clearly there😎😎😎 Guys such as main man georgie fame are the super coolest cats in town. Nothing will ever touch these real artists!!!!!!!!!

FLAMINGO ALLNIGHTERS. Stumbling up the stairs, blinking in the grey dawn light. Down to the Embarcadero for hot-dogs, more booze and dope, then just sit and watch the river flow. Those were the days.
