Georgia have always had the physicality....now they have the flair players too.....if they played the top teams regularly - with that support....who knows what would happen! 😀

Well done Georgia, congratulations from Italy, the victory was very well deserved. I think it's high time we in Italy abandon the pretense to be a "real" tier 1, we are a sort of 1.5 like Georgia, Fiji, Samoa and Japan, and I really do hope that the format of the six nations will be reconsidered.

@@NoOne-gx3os I am sorry, I wish it was different but I really think the rare victories against the "real" tier 1 in the last 10 years all depended on statistic probability: we need a very good day for Italy and at the same time a very bad day for the opponent, if one of those conditions is missing there is no possibility to win for the evident difference in base value, and this is why we have occasional exploits but they are never followed by a good season. I only hope that, since the Under 20 seems to be performing quite well in the last seasons, something will improve soon.

@Lado Gongadze He's a fantastic prospect. Every time I see him play he's a standout. That's what Georgia need to have a chance of being accepted into the 6n, players who can play in an attractive style to encourage the team to be more expansive. No one doubts Georgias ability in the forwards but that kinda viewing spectacle just isn't going to cut it in the 6n these days. Take note Eddie and England 😁

There'd be too many matches. There should be a best of 3 playoffs. One home, one away and one on neutral territory. If you can't beat Georgia in a best of 3 you should drop. Most fans would think that's reasonable.

If in 10 years time a random team from the other kinds of six nations gets good enough that the six nations B or C effectively becomes non competitive what are you gonna do? Lo que quizás piense ALGUIEN, pero seguro que no todos. Esta ha sido la primera victoria en la historia de Georgia frente a Italia, una Italia que, además, ha desplegado muchas reservas... ¿es suficiente para acceder a las seis naciones? en los 90, cuando italia pidio la admision, pudo ganar en francia, dos veces contra irlanda y empatar contra gales, asi despues de estos 4 resultados madurados entre 1997 y 1999, en el 2000 obtuvo la admision. La verdad es que a Georgia aun le queda mucho camino por recorrer, y que una italia completa sigue siendo superior a Georgia sin ningun problema

@@estudiosyue La cuestión es que, de momento, como han demostrado los últimos test-match (Irlanda ganando dos veces en Nueva Zelanda, Escocia ganando en Argentina, Gales ganando en Sudáfrica, Inglaterra ganando dos veces en Australia y finalmente Francia en el número uno del ranking) los equipos de las seis naciones son más fuertes que los del hemisferio sur, son la élite mundial y, por lo tanto, para Italia es como jugar contra la Nueva Zelanda de los años 90 y 2000, es muy dificil. Pero nunca como ahora, Italia tiene una Sub 20 realmente fuerte. , capaces de ganar tres juegos en las seis naciones de la categoría y quedar terceros: estos muchachos son un gran futuro para los Azzurri, que seguramente aumentarán el nivel de juego en los próximos años y seguirán siendo demasiado superiores de Georgia, España, Portugal y todos los equipos de Tier 2

Why did Italy go for 2 penalty kicks in the last 10 minutes of the game instead of going for the lineout and a try when they were that much behind...?! Georgia looked by far the better team, should be an interesting RWC next year judging by the results of these summer internationals!

To be honest im from NZ im Maori and when they chant or boo over the haka and kicks it doesnt bother me adds to the atmosphere

Congratulations to Georgia, some of the referees calls were disappointing. Italy's first try should not have been awarded 7 running behind 11 should have been a penalty awarded to Georgia and the lineout throws from Italy were not even straight.
