I don’t like how you pick the words you use to write, but as far as this song I think she sings better than most all other covers, I can’t say she’s better than the original but I really like this version too. I like Georgia’s other songs too, she’s underrated and unknown around here

This literally hits so freaking much - It's like the best modern version of Kate Bush' original - Literally gave me chills - I love this!!!

From all the covers I've heard. This felt the most authentic. As in- if Kate Bush were to release the song today it would be produced much like this and would sound like it too.

This is the only cover that rivals the original. Even their voices are similar. Dont @ me

She didn’t only champion it... She’s a classically trained dancer 💃🏻. She made a point of personally performing her own choreography in her music 🎶 videos 📺. She’s a multitalented entertainer. It’s not surprising, since she comes from an immediate family who are all proficient artists in different mediums.

It may not sound as creative as some think, but it's a very beautiful cover from a young artist like Georgia and a very good way to introduce Kate's music to younger generations. I don't think that's anything to complain about!

One of the best covers of this song ever.

I've loved this song since I first heard it while in high school way back; 37 yrs ago. This is the only "cover" I've heard, so far, that I love just as much as the original. Damn good job, excellent. 😊

I’ve been a big Kate Bush fan for a while now. With her style being so unique and otherworldly, I never really thought someone could capture her essence in a cover. We had the Hounds of Love cover by The Futureheads and Placebo’s rendition of Running Up That Hill which were both good but they were so different from Kate Bush. But just in last two years we’ve had two artists, Meg Meyers and Georgia, covering the same song and doing their own thing with the song but I can also feel Kate Bush’s heartbeat through the music. Outstanding.

Saw Georgia last night in Nottingham supporting Haim, she was excellent, she closed with this which i assumed she had done as a nod to the songs resurgence, not that she had released this cover! The live version last night was great, as was the rest of the set.

The Meg Myers one is really good

What an excellent cover. Keeping the feel of the original is no mean feat. The production is tasteful and modern yet has a clear 80s sound pallet.

Loved the cover, especially the dancing, beautiful fluid movement!

If the dancer is Sid Barnes, as has been mentioned elsewhere in this comments section, then he is: - (a) Georgia's younger brother, who... (b) ...grew up as a *huge* Kate Bush fan and was dancing around in his room as a little boy to this very song, and introduced Georgia to it, and... (c) ...is the male backing vocalist you hear in the "yeah-yeah-yo" section Great job overall by the siblings, one of the best covers I've heard of this mammoth song from Kate Bush.

Came here after listening to this amazing, talented and skilled young woman talking about the making of this cover on BBC Radio 4's 'Soul Music' (I can't paste the link otherwise KZread deletes the post.) I was listening to it while walking my dogs (the hounds I love). I bought the original─the album─when it was originally released, so it forms part of the soundtrack to my teenage years. Hearing what you, Georgia, did with the original completely choked me up. The respect and reverence you showed as you explained how you put it together, and the fabulous end product, made me well up. And I'm a 50+ male not normally given to that sort of thing. Top work; really top work. 👍

Her music was always played by both my mum and dad, and when I began to understand the way that sound and production worked, I embarked on my own intimate and personal journey with her music. I love Georgia. Discovered her music a few years back. I have a sacred place in my heart for Running Up That Hill and I don't think it needs a cover. What made the song was Kate Bush's strange ethereal voice that can't be replicated. For me, it was Kate's one hit wonder as her other music sounds nothing like it. But I do respect this cover as I love Georgia.
