Really ILOILO is the kind of City that has a different vibe from most of the topsy-turvy look of other cities in the cities ILOILO is moving at a different direction, it is moving into the direction of the beautiful well planned cities of the world, leaving behind the third-world look of the other cities in the Philippines. it's so nice to be living in Iloilo, the Cleanest and Most Beautiful City in the Philippines.

She’s also a foreigner, Hungarian married to Filipino man, based in Cabanatuan City, Luzon. Feels kinda awkward 2 me posting another vlog, but Michael has always voiced philosophy of helping out smaller channels & just everybody doing their thing to their best capacity.

Brother, I agree. I see (or have seen) the potential in the city from the time I first moved here from Los Angeles in 2015. I give a lot of credit to Mayor Treñas (I know Vista is outside Iloilo City but still haha). Forward thinking and has a clear vision and plan for Iloilo City. I trust and believe what I see with my own eyes...and not what people tell me. What do I see? I see results. I see renovations of all the government buildings. I see a re-design and renovations of the plazas. I see the cleanliness of the city, how the streets are vibrant and full of artwork. The esplanade river is clean, beautiful and filled with joggers. If I didn't believe in the direction Iloilo City was headed...I probably would have moved back to the States. I love it here. ❤

Thank you so much for the good news. I'm looking forward for the (North Avenue) Sunset boulevard project. A 7.2 km highway (with bike and walk ways) from Mandurriao to Oton. Following the Iloilo River on one side and Green lush of trees on the other side, the view will be amazing. Once its done on March 2023 (I think), the potential development around that area is endless. Iloilo city really plans well for the future.

That will be a big boost to the city of Iloilo...

It's a really nice project!

exciting indeed but we all know these things can take a looong while to be fully realized. a few examples just in iloilo are: their older, smaller project savannah; sta. barbara heights (MW); GICC (gaisano); the ayala area (they're so slow compared to MW). hopefully, as demand picks up, these existing projects will be expedited. i always enjoy seeing these things.

Oton, San Miguel, Pavia, and Sta. Barbara are all part of the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras Devt Council where Mayor Treñas is the chairman. I like that the government is forward thinking. Soon there will be a Mental Wellness center specifically for mental health. City also supports local artists. And the city also has an LGBT affairs office. If I’m not mistaken, the first in the country? Indeed, it is the City of Love. In the province, we also have a great public servant, Governor Toto Defensor. Hope you could meet him one day 😊

amongst the subdivision in iloilo, savannah has the widest roads and has lots of trees, the only thing that i dont like is the quality of water supplied by first peak, parang galing sa kanal

Yes BGC needs a good modern hospital of its kind.Poor and rich,foreigners and local people must be seen by health care workers with respect and compassion.BGC must build a competitive ED with modern hospital equipment like Cat Scan,MRI and XRay machines etc. to complete their improved and impressive performance.Are they planning for that? BGC has St Lukes Medical Center a member of the Mayo Clinic in America and one of the most modern hospital in the Philippines. The hospital lobby is like a hotel. They even have Starbucks there. How many hospitals have Starbucks in their facility?

Usually the decades part is the planning, permits and infrastructure portion. Once they start building it's under 5 years for all. Since building are already up like Vista Mall, Savanah subdivision and even the new overpass is 50% complete I think you'll see action a lot quicker now

@@BiancaBeyond as someone who grew up in Iloilo, so much changed in just 10yrs. Esplanades didn't exist back then, the Iloilo River smelled so bad each time we drove by it, the streets didn't have sidewalks or bike lanes... So many infrastructure projects are being planned and being built. Our team helps design and execute some of the government buildings, truly there are many things in development right now that the average person doesn't know is being built.

I love Iloilo but I honestly can't comprehend paying 6million plus.

Savannah portion is already built, the mall is built, the overpass is over half done, hospitals and schools being built, one huge school is completed. I'm not sure 20 years is reasonable.was Cebu IT park in 1992 at this level? We love BGC but honestly where will they build now, there isn't that much empty land? Maybe I'll research what BGC plans are and make a episode about it too

Actually the worst subdivision for utilities.. dirty water supply and always low power or shortage of electricity their internet is superslow and we cannot change our providers. Im from Savannah for 7yrs

Many are waiting for Iloilo City to boom for a long time now. People thought that the one can rival is the Megaworld township project in Mandurriao area. However, it seems to be taking time to fly. There seems to be lack of interest in foreign investment in the area, unlike Cebu. I'm not saying that Iloilo City is not beautiful. For me, it is so much better than the crowded Manila. But having a CBD that will house service-oriented jobs will be awesome as it means that people don't have to seek jobs in Manila anymore and it will help to decongest the overpopulated Manila. Vistaland is not a premiere township developer in the Philippines so I'm keeping my expectation low. Their subdivisions/villages are good though.

A lot of momentum was lost during the pandemic, even in Cebu when we were at IT park and the condos there do not even have fibre for high speed internet yet. They planned to run it after they built the building but then the Hurricane and Pandemic shut it all down. We see positive things all over for the Philippines going forward

Nah, BGC in the capital will still have way more office spaces and way more retailers. The development the Villar group is putting up named Georgia will be like it’s namesake, much more laid back and relaxed. We’d like to keep the vibe in Iloilo less intense. Hopefully when the flyovers are done we can finally return to traffic being far less intense too 🤭

Georgia project by Villar Group project is a marquee project dedicated to his Ilonggo roots and his promise to share real estate success in honor to his father who is Cabatuan town and Tanza Iloilo city proper. A self-made man with all Malay blood. Now the richest man in the Philippines, not bad for a dude that started as a fish dealer in Tonto Navotas. 98% of rag to riches in the Philippines are of Chinese ancestry who escaped poverty in Fujian part of China. Bringing with them a mercantile culture and “conveniently” marrying into the elite once they hoard the weath of the local Malay population. Hopefully the Lopez Group and First Gen Holdings group will bring more projects to Iloilo bringing their Ilonggo roots back home.

You must hurry and buy land in Iloilo before prices skyrocket at BGC level... 🤔 Vista is owned by Manny Villar jr., the richest single person in the Philippines.

How long do you think it will take for all of these dreams to come true? It's not going to happen in 1-2 years...more like 5-7

Savannah community already built, vista mall already built, overpass is 50% complete. Ground breaking on commercial buildings/condos have begun, many hospitals and schools already being built, school is built but closed because finished just before the pandemic. Entire project likely will take many years but you will likely notice a big difference in 2 years

There is only one big problem...i live near the vista mall.....but the 33 sqm cost 8 million and you have to wait 4 years....and I looked the model unit....poorly build .....while in the festive walk you can buy the same unit ... finished for around 4 million ( same size) and with rising interest this project will fail ( cause even back in Europe I can get that condos for a better price and much much better build quality)....sorry , but that's the truth

@@BiancaBeyond than take a look on the nearby Guimaras island....it's super affordable there ( sometimes a tenth of the Iloilo prices)....and when the bridge to Iloilo is build you need only 15 minutes to have all the comforts of the city...besides some beaches there are white like in Boracay....the roads are awesome (brandnew sometimes 6 lanes )....and it's perfect for a new insta and KZread video

@@BiancaBeyond outside the City you can find cheap properties. Cabatuan, New Lucena, Janiuay, San Miguel. 30 to 60 minutes drive and you're in SM City. even near the national highway you can find land for +2000/sqm.

Atlanta has the USA busiest airport, hosted a summer Olympics, has more banks. You really can find things for both places that beat the other, it's not so much a competition as they are inspired by a city

We have smart and when we stayed in festive walk the fibre had much slower speed then our 4G phones, we were uploading our videos with my phone data. Getting 120mb down and 110mb upload and that isn't even 5G!

I'm 40km away from the city ans a bit far frim the main highway... practically in the boondoks of Iloilo... my Wifi speed is more or less 250Mbps...
