THANK YOU for hyping up Yurosek, I felt like I was going crazy when I would excitedly tell people about us getting him and they would hand wave him away behind Oscar Delp and Luckie. I know we gotta hype up our guys, but Yurosek IS one of our guys now and he was IMO a top 5 TE in the country easily. No one on Earth can replace Brock Bowers who is one of the best college TEs of all time, but this dude could easily be a late 1st round high 2nd round pick.

My bold prediction: Julian Humphrey will be cb1 by seasons end imo hes the best pure cover corner on the team. He is a flat out stud that Mizzou game showed his ceiling jus has to improve his tackling

Totally agree on Humphrey. Was a better cover guy than Everette last year, but he just wasn't nearly as physical against the run and screen game. If he improves there, he will be a big-time CB for the Dawgs.

The only reason I don't agree with Jason Walker is that I felt like he broke out last year. I would've put Aguero or Christen Miller instead. Hopefully Damon Wilson or Dillon Bell makes you look bad for not putting them on this list. Agree on one of those CBs tho (D. Harris or Humphries). Great list and excellent points. Delp and Yourasek are gonna KILL teams in the seams.

That’s fair. I just don’t think Walker played enough last year to have “broken out.” To me, a when you “break out” that means even the most casual fan and fans of other teams know who you are and I’m just not sure that is true if Jalon Walker right now. But that’s just how I define it. Plenty of ways to look at it.

Yeah, he was good for a freshman, but he was also learning and wasn't ready yet. Not his fault he was forced into duty early. Did some really good things - as I said in the video - but we also have to recognize that he wasn't great last year. If you go back and watch the tape closely and honestly, I think you'll see what I'm talking about. What we saw was tantalizing flashes of the potential of what he can be. He was great against Ole Miss, but was picked on by other teams at times.

Got to find someone else that can actually somewhat set the edge. But it is surreal that a guy with ZERO sacks last year played a full third of our snaps at JACK. Wild stuff.
