He did say that as a MMA fan he doesn't like good guys (like himself) which he considers boring. He was a big Tito Ortiz fan in early UFC and also a Chael Sonnen fan ("Anderson Silva you absolutely suck!"). It kind of explains why he has no animosity towards the Diaz bros, they're authentic badasses and, as heels, are far more interesting than your typical polite champ.

He never talked bad about the Diaz brothers, even towards Nick. Never dissed him in any local show either, which might not air on US tv. He always showed great respect to Nick, outside fight promo. He even said that he think Nick had the best BJJ in all of MMA, not only UFC. He said this in an interview on RDS with Patrick “predator” Cote. And both showed their respect after their fight. Just like Nick and Silva.

Usman and Covington are way too strong for Nate and it would be a 5 round fuck fest. Nate obviously doesn't want that and wants to fun fights where the guys will stand and bang with him, like Masvidal. Nate vs Usman, Covington, Askren would all be boring fights, Nate wants them badass scraps.

Just recently started taking interest in UFC and am already a big fan of Nate and GSP. Didn’t even know who this guy was until I saw him on Rogans podcast talking about the story of running into his childhood bully. Such a great story and humble guy! Very inspiring

Steven Omidi GSP knows it only takes one lucky shot... He was a crap champion when he was using his “lay and wait” tactics to win by “unanimous decision” every time, but he is definite one of the greatest when he fights to finish!

These guys take humility to a new level in this game. So refreshing. 👌👌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💚❤👍👍

In fact for us in quebec.. He speak perfect french but hes pretty bad in english 😄 he would probably get like 80% writing and hearing but like 60% speaking.. at high school 😄 he was too busy training and fighting 👍 good thing

Nick Diaz, Condit, Shields, Jon Fitch, Matt Hughes 2x, Bisping, Thiago Alves, BJ Penn, Koscheck, Hardy... Barring Hendrinks, who Georges was still the first one to do better against, in his opponent's heyday. Still keeps himself humble. What a fucking legend.
