Now they are doing it to new artists like mo pitney and William Michael Morgan. I remember how our local country station was bragging about them playing mo pitney and William Michael Morgan when they first came out that other radio stations weren't playing their music now the same station had stopped playing their music.

I listen to talk radio and have since 2008 and my kind of CD’s that I like. I don’t listen to music on the radio anymore because they don’t play my kind of music.

I can't remember the last time I turned on the radio in my truck. I am not sure it still works! Definitely not since Rush Limbaugh passed away. When I travel, I listen to CD's of the real country artists. Recently my wife played a video of a new country singer, Cody Johnson. He actually is a country singer, so when I find his album I will add it to my collection, but as far as radio goes, It is pretty much "dead and gone" in my world. Rush was the last chance for radio.

That is why I don’t listen to Country radio anymore, they don’t play the old artists along with the new. They only push the new music which I don’t like. Most of new songs are true to the country roots. So I’m just buying and downloading the music l like and listen that way - no commercials too!

Today's radio SUCKS!! Most of the singers suck!! They aren't country. Or even close!!!! They know who they are,or ain't!!
