Ladies and gents, if this does not sound like another number one for this man I don't know what does... this blew me away and it's great to see him getting so much enjoyment of writing his own songs with his son and dean and surprising his fans w/ it. This is 100% a number one hit we just have to pray that it isn't "too country" and radios actually play it. I “accidentally” started listening to George Strait in 1995 and I have every single one of his albums! He is the universal undisputed king of country! I was conditioned not to like country music and man, did I not know what I was missing!

I was there too. Awesome. Lucky for me I can drive there in a few hours. Been lucky to have him play in Vegas the last several years. That was Strait concert number 14 for me. 15 this August.

Brian Hopkins yeah it’s sad, one of my favorite new songs on the album is about just that, it’s basically another version of his song “kicked out of country” but it’s really great. And you’re right it probably won’t be played on the radio, because people prefer to listen to pop country than real country music these days :(

@@alezabethcadena2133 Extremely sad. It isn't just that people prefer to listen to pop country. There's a mega ton of people that like traditional country, radio is just so into bro country. They won't even play women. Currently 0 women in the top 20. That's ridiculous. Hopefully someday radio will come to their senses as there are some great women out there and some great traditional country men and women.
