They need to put the 80's and 90's episodes on I View. I was 4 when this one aired, and remember watching it. It would of been epic if they paired up George with John Hamblin in one episode.
This episode aired almost exactly a year before i was born. Here i am, a 36 year old man, enjoying this almost as much as I recall as a small child. How incredible to reminisce, i remember it well, yourself included George. Congratulations on a wonderful career impacting the minds of generations of young aussies. Very admirable.
George was my favourite Play School presenter! 😊
Wow did Play School for 25 years!! That’s amazing George! You were one of my favourite presenters! I loved your sense of humour. I grow up in the 90’s and Play School was the best during that period.
That rolling ball calendar was the coolest thing. Much simpler times.
🥰 Oh, that is so awesome and wonderful and especially really exciting to see George again! We would love to see Monica and Leah and all of the other presenters react to their first episodes! 🧸 🏡 📺 👏👏👏
George was one of my favourite Play School presenters
We loved you George. Thank you. Two boys now with boys of their own.
Love your work to this day…from a child to a mature aged teacher. Thank you sooo much. 🎉
Loved Play School 🏠🧸 I'm 45 now, it was the good days in the 80's
George, I will always remember your enthusiasm for your beloved Rocket Clock. "Ready for Blast Off? Five...Four...Three...Two...One...Zero, BLAST OFF! 🚀🌕
George, you were great
We loved you George thank you.
George will always be my favourite. Give me a rocket clock, a rolling ball day of the week and a George and I'll be set even now as an almost 34yo.
Damn Phillip Quast really was Daddy!
Thanks for the memories ❤ I enjoyed watching George and everyone as a kid. Loads of fun!
Childhood memory unlocked, he was just brilliant. I didn't realise he was in Sweet & Sour (1984-5) too.
It's been my dream to finally see this 😀 George was also my favourite presenter and I've also wondered what it would've been like if he was paired with John Hamblin for an episode, but sadly it never happened. The Tuesday episode of the Wool and Threads week was the first of many that George hosted with Benita, would be great to see that one too sometime.
The Roses chocolate box on their collage makes me feel nostalgic. My Mum and I would share a box if I was a good little boy.
4:50 it's still gripping TV for an adult
Ah, the old beginning I grew up with. It was well and truly gone by the time my brother was born.
I hope somebody has this episode taped on vhs but tne whoˇe series
He did Play School for 13 years from 1986 to 1999. Not 28 or 29 years.
Can anyone upload that full episode of George and Phillip?
George looks even more handsome today!
Man George had a lot of hair back then.
Are there's old episodes on iview
George turned 70 a month ago.
I’ve seen bits but I wouldn’t mind seeing the whole video where George talks about the ‘lack’ of diversity prior to him joining play school
George was so sexy back in the day!
