He's not scared to block, we saw him pancake guys off the line last year. He's just not "getting mines" so he doesn't care. It's a generational thing. He's young, dumb and wants to be rich and have all the glory without putting in the work. He's gotta go.

Tone is spot on! Its not that the Steelers are losing games. It football, teams will always lose games. It's the fact that the way the team is playing is so unrecognizable as the Steelers. For literally 50+ years, Steelers football has been defined by tough, hard hitting defenses that would never allow opponents to run the ball combined with a mean ground game of their own. (Paired with Ben over the last 20 years has made our offense high flying too). It's almost like the Steelers forgot who they are. They go out there now and just flat out get bullied, which used to never ever be allowed to happen in Pittsburgh. That's what's hardest to watch.

Well, I remember a pre-season interview with Pickens, which made all my alarm bells ring. He was asked about the goals for the season (not his personal goals) and he said something like "over a 1000 yards, more than 10 TDs, Pro-Bowl selection". Not one of them had to do with the team. Again: inner voice vs outer voice. Maybe 70 % of WRs in the NFL think that way, but if you can't even fake something like caring about the team, it's bad. I remember it vividly, because I was shocked. After all, judging from his rookie season, I thought that he was a team player who was not exclusively about getting targets and personal stats.

But in total fairness, I don't think you can judge any of the pass catchers true ability with how bad their QB play, and play calling has been. That said, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the ultimate catch 22, farm team when it comes to diva WRs. They find them, they ball out, lose their minds and dip. The issue is that Pittsburgh has always had veteran WRs that showed the rookies the steeler way. That doesn’t exist anymore. The last person who was suppose to pass the torch and lead was AB. Issue was, AB was disgruntled for being “bullied” and treated like a Undrafted guy to turning into a superstar. He had something to prove, which was good and bad. Pittsburgh needs to start over. Josh Allen should’ve been the successor to Big Ben.
