His concert in Vienna, dedicated to all the great nurses and doctors of the akh who saved his live.... it was the most unique experience ever. I will never forget the Vibes of thankfulness that evening. It was a celebration of life itself and I still feel blessed for having been there that evening ❤️

A big loss to music ! He was so talented all around musically. And he was so right in his own self assessment when he commented that despite the turmoil in his personal life throughout the years, he always had that certainty that his talent would never fail him. In George's case that wasn't arrogance, that was just knowing and understanding what he was capable of professionally. In his career life George Michael was the master of his fate for the most part. And in the process of that he gave us some of the best pop music ever made. From his own words that was his goal and he achieved it brilliantly ! Thank you for your beautiful music Mr. Michael. So sad that you are not here anymore to share your art with us. We are lesser for it

there’s definitely a change between his voice from 1996 and this performance. His addictions were none of our business, but we shouldn’t deny them and how they affected his vocal chords

Satya Pandey....I agree. All versions of this classic song are sublime as George made subtle changes in the instrumentation and the intonation of this song at least a few times when he performed it live through the years. He did the same with many of his great songs...."Different Corner" and "Praying for Time " come to mind. And the fact that they all came out sounding as good as the original versions is just further proof of what a musical genius he was ! The world of musical talent is missing the giant George Michael for going on three years now. Very grateful that his beautiful music remains as a gift to treasure for the rest of my life, and as George's amazing legacy.

Fantastic live voice

So grateful for this Symphonica tour esp the concerts after his brush with near death in Dec 2011. Fans were so happy to see him back in action at the Olympics and the rescheduled concerts like this one in 2012. He looked well even in pictures in 2015. Wonder what happened after that , that saw him slip away so fast. So thankful for the great music and songs he left behind for his fans. Will remember and love him forever

No, he didn't. He listened to black music and had backing singers capable of singing gospel. George was always restrained in his vocal, rarely , if ever, venturing into Gospel / R & B histrionics. He knew his limitations, kept the vocal 'pure' and didn't over do it. Simple... and yes, he had soul alright : )
